I bought the car from Mershon’s in Ohio, and have had all the work done by D&M here in Downers Grove IL. Overall, it’s a great car that runs very well. I drive it several times a week in the warmer weather, and have been very happy with it!
along the front fender ridges, and the odd bubble here and there. Most of this is only visible up-close. The crossed-flags badge on the fuel filler lid has been loose, and caused some visible scratching. There is a paint chip on the rear right corner from a garage scrape.
There is a chrome luggage rack installed, which is in very good condition.
The convertible top is newer, and is also very good.
Thanks for looking at my 'vette. The engine is the correct LS5 454 365HP, but is not the original.
The car was built in April of 1971 and was originally paint code 988 Steel Cities Gray, but at some point was re-sprayed correct Mille Miglia Red.
I would describe the paint condition as “good”. There are chips at the tips of the doors where they meet the rear deck lid. There is crazing and cracking
