The Constitution & the general platform of the Rs (not the abortion stance) is fairly close to libertarianism, but many politicians pander to special interests & in buying votes.

Rasmussen reported that only 38% of voters support the healthcare bill proposed by Obama and Democrats in Congress. That is the lowest level of support for the bill after almost two dozen polls conducted since this summer. Half of the survey had been conducted before the motion to proceed on Obamacare in the Senate on Saturday evening. Rasmussen reported that support for the plan was even lower after the Senate vote passed.

Hoffman wants to make it illegal to get an abortion (and no exceptions for rape or incest) and to put in jail any doctor or any female who gets one.
Finally someone willing to take a stand!

Hoffman is a great choice.

Rape is bad but if you're raped then Jesus must have wanted it that way or else if wouldn't have happened. If you kill your baby you're killing God's child.

Abortion is not "killing a baby".
Early on its destroying some cells.
Later on it's eliminating a fetus.
Whatever you call it, it's removal of an unwanted growth inside the woman, that is there against her will.
