  • Hello there! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (just google it)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cousin lost a ton of weight with it.

  • I feel happy for you most obese people give up on their life and that's sad

  • Inspirational, informational & motivational....keep up the great work!

  • Great videos, I wish I found these sooner.

  • i hope it works/worked for you (it's august 2010) .where's the 145lb video? i recently read Gary Taubes book ,Good Calories,Bad Calories.(youtube videos also) so now i have a healthy skepticism about everyones dietary choices and their advice.

  • Can you eat fruit and still get of insulin? Or are you on a very low GI Diet?

Did you try the Atkins diet?

    Best wishes

    Cath

  • @Catherine8raw I wanted to be able to eat fruit and take insulin, but my doctor would only give me oral pills. Trying to talk him into it. I looked at Adkins, tried some forms of it. Didn't work for me.

  • I think you are amazing. Raw food diet is something I strongly believe in & know a lot about. I try and try and try to eat only raw food but I can't even go one day! It takes the utmost inner strength.

P.S. ET's have the technology to turn you off or stop you in time and space. They abduct people anywhere!

  • I'm "mostly" or "a lot" of raw now lol. It's just me, but I really needed the animal protein - even if it's just eggs and not even every day. I love raw. The funny this is that when I was doing all or mostly raw I had no hunger or cravings. But when I try to just calorie count, it's like my stomach is trying to eat itself. I'm increasing the amount of raw again because the benefits are undeniable.

  • it's hard, and a journey for sure. and yes, you have to try different things to see what works for YOU. everyone's bodies are different. and everyone will lose and gain weight differently. i heard a quote once and i've been living by it ever since. "when you TRY, you leave the option for failure. if you want to DO something, you have to DO it!" people need to stop making excuses for not taking care of their bodies. it's not worth it. eating healthy is MUCH more fulfilling. keep up the progress!!

  • just some added inspiration if you're looking: in a nut shell.. i've always been a bigger girl. at my heaviest i was 270. borderline diabetic at that time. wanted a baby and had to lose weight to have one. lost 50. got pregnant right away. got back up to 276 and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. after the baby, i kept up the weight loss. eating right/exercise. have lost 90 pounds so far. started RAW and never felt better! i love this lifestyle!! blood sugar is LOWER! :0}

  • How long did it take you to lose 90lbs?

  • well like i said before, everyone is different. it might take you 5 months to lose just 10 pounds, and it might take someone those 5 months to lose 50. it all depends on your metabolism and how you eat and your efforts in working out. when you're first starting out anything new, you'll definitely see results. if you keep it up. and the heavier you are, the more you will lose. i was 270 at the time, it took me just under 5 months to lose my first 50 pounds. all i did was cut out fast food and....

  • started to exercise.. but very little. i was using a stability ball. then i started to change some more things about my eating habits. and exercised a little harder, using weights. lost some more. then started p90x, lost 20 more. i've been at a weight loss plateau for a year now. but it took me a little over a year to lose the 90. the people on the biggest loser can lose that in the first 10 weeks. but they are working out all day and are on super strict diets. i have to think realistically.....

  • i am a stay at home mommy. so i have the advantage of working out in the privacy of my own home. i rebooted the way i think about food and made it a chore. that's all it is. you have to eat to lose, but it has to be all the right things. as far as working out, i try to move everyday. even if it's for 10 minutes. it's something. i do p90x and insanity. look them up. i totally recommend them. but they are crazy! lol. best of luck! hope this has helped.

  • thanx :)

  • Thanks for sharing! That IS inspirational!! Great job!!!!!!

  • You have the same problems that I have... I am a type 2 diabetic and I have PCOS. I dont know what too eat? I have been practically starving myself.

  • OMG, I know the feeling. Raw food really helped me a lot. I fell off the wagon big time because I was pissed off about being diagnosed with something new, but I'm over that now and getting back into the groove. I try to follow the raw food diet and when I'm not doing raw I do the insulin resistance diet which basically, for me, means no more than 30 g of carb per meal or 15 per snack. When I fell off the wagon I saw problems come back BIG TIME. I'm so sold on raw now. :) Good luck!

  • oh the new v8 soups are awesome! try the squash one. I don't like mine too thick so I put chicken stock in it a lil and then i get protein and a good serving of veggies.

  • I am sick right now, when I'm sick though I consume soup and drink water. Soup cooks really fast. basically get it warmed up in the microwave. I take pho which is a common vietnamese soup and very healthy so I lost alot of weight and took xtra care of myself that when I get better I won't gain all the weight I lost. and the soup is very filling.

  • omgawsh. I am totally addicted to pho. I LUVS it. I usually buy it from a restaurant, but I should learn how to make it myself. We drive them nuts, my son orders it with only noodles, I order it with only vegetables, and hubby orders it with noodles and tofu. lol.

  • You have had such great progress with weight loss. Amazing really.

    Good luck with the crossfit.

  • Thank you macomarell! I showed my sister your channel yesterday. She really likes the idea of your calorie restriction program and she thought your recipes looked good. So she'll be checking your channel out a lot. :)

  • Wait wait wait! Freezing? Really?

  • LOL...well...freezing to ME!! I saw a video that was filmed yesterday up there where you are. It looked like Christmas! You must be even more "freezier "haha

  • Ya it snowed yesterday, and this morning it was 10 degrees when I left for class. I didn't wear a coat either! Just a sweater and a zipper sweater.

  • I enjoy your vlogs and support your efforts!

  • Thank you Miss Truly!!

  • Awesome and inspirational video! Thanks so much for all the information! I am so proud of you, keep up the great work!

  • Thank you!

  • You are an inspiration!

  • So are you! I enjoyed your last update where you talked about turning to God and all the scriptures you posted. It's very strengthening. :)

  • Great video. thanks for all the info I though I was the only one with the thoughts if I were being chased or needed to save myself thought and knowing I would be dead. BTW I know people do you want them to talk to your husband? lol

  • Yes, my husband needs a really good talking to! haha. Good to know I'm not the only one who has the "what if" thoughts. :)

  • Aliens, what?? lol! Hilarious! And about those bears-until recently I was living in the mountainous high desert [10 years]. Fact: they can out run humans. Never run unless the math works out & you're headed for a bear proof place of some kind...And they live for climbing trees, see Tom Brown books...Food: I was motivated to go high raw after a terrible flu, etc..I find not restricting myself = healthy choices, usually,step-by-step. You're fabulous & doing great. Enjoying the subscription! (o:

  • LOL. Well dang about the bears. Now I gotta get strong enough to wrestle a bear too! haha. My great-great grandfather *claimed* he could ha. You lived in the high desert. Did you live around Tucson?

  • Great Job! You sound pumped!! Im just getting over being sick as well, Im excited to get back into everything as well!

  • I hope your all better! I still have the crud. :( Hope you are over that part too. :)

  • well done Bjay. Keep the raw food and exercise going!

  • Thanks Graham! Thanks for inspiring me to exercise!

  • By the way....can you understand me well? I have a couple Aussie friends who constantly tell me how "weird" my accent is and that they have a hard time understanding me lol.

  • Seriously?,haha! Okay *which* nation of beautiful people somehow gets five syllables out of the word, 'no' and three out of the word, 'beer?' (cough!australia). Don't make a special request, just listen for each of these words during casual conversation. I asked one of my friends from there about it & she just laughed.
