  • Elvis is alive doing this same song. He has white hair now, but can still belt it out!

He's at jtyler5 doing this song!

  • this guy talks about poons all the time..thats what Johnny Cash guitarist said from Walk the Line.

  • Just been reading Last Train To Memphis and in the book Gordon Stoker of The Jordanaires said he didn't think Elvis could sing UNTIL he heard him sing this at the New York session where they recorded it. This song is as wild as the raging sea !!

  • amazing vocal

  • ELVIS IS THE BEST!!

  • Early Elvis, pre-army, was the greatest ever - raw & gutteral. Awesome stuff. After army Elvis was still great, but the early stuff really rocked.

  • I'll be strong as a mountain... excellent

  • love this song

  • This is a beautiful song, sung by a beautiful, handsome, generous, kind hearted, humble man, I would accept him anyway he was, Loved his for ever and will love him until I leave this earth and even then will take something Elvis with me, God Bless you Elvis for all the wonderful time I spent listening to your beautiful voice,

  • I love this song! Thanks for making such a stunning video. :-)

  • no doubt! once a king always a king

  • This is my favorite song by Elvis as well. Thank you Feelings for posting it.

  • OMG! these pix have me breathless !! the king is so sexy !!

  • Most of the still pictures were taken by famed photographer Al Wertheimer who was assigned by RCA in 1956 to follow Elvis around and photograph him. One of the most famous pictures is called the Kiss or the Tongue Kiss the photographer came around the corner, and saw Elvis on the stairs with a still unknown girl so he started snapping candid shots. Some call these the sexiest pictures ever shot--they're good alright!

  • The girl in the polka dot dress is one of his girlfriends at the time Barbara Hearn. She didn't know these pictures of her with Elvis were in books and galleries until recent years.

  • awasome!!!

  • pure excellence from the KING xxxxx

  • Incredible video. Great pics. I am male but not gay. Still, superb photography. Any one of these photos has to be worth a fortune! Great post.

  • With a name like that, you are obviously a loser.

  • amen to that

  • I remember hearing this song on the radio as a kid,I loved it then, I adore it now.

Elvis you will allways ROCK!! Love and miss you forever..fan

  • not only the king.the VOICE!!!!

    greets from germany

  • I love this song so much. The voice of Elvis is so awesome.

  • He sing like a dream.......he's so SO sexy ...blues..WAOUW !

    elvis forever the king.....

    king of my heart!

  • top or bottom, i'll do it for you

  • Purrrrrrr hmmmm shivers at the voice handsome devil he was too.

  • what a looker.

  • Thanks for the memories of this sweet innocent young man we

knew. Wish he was still here....but he is....in our hearts now

    and for always

  • innocent?! Elvis wasn't innocent he was simply considerate, understanding and caring if you call that innocent then ok!

  • He was innocent at 23 years old when Col. Parker put him in

an inside stateroom on a ship going to Hawaii while the Col.

had a huge suite with a balcony...he didn't know any better,

and the Col. took a big chunk of money and Elvis was left with

the leftovers. I call that innocent....I would have been pissed.

  • Well that's because the colonel is a man without honor! A dishonorable & despicable man and Elvis was simply greatful taking things step by step because he knew the great poverty he had been fortunate to escape! For Elvis life wasn't about material things, but for human they are!! Elvis cared more about genuine spiritual growth and development!

  • You are so right my friend, and you're a real and true Elvis

    fan....welcome to our Elvis world.

  • ..and so are my friend! :) peace!

  • This is one of my favorite songs from Elvis's early years. I used to listen to it over and over again! Nice video! *****

  • Elvis died the same year I was born, I at 31 will always have a love of Elvis. You the man.

  • When i was a teenager I danced this romantic song with my boy friend, thanks for the memories.

  • I have to admit it. I like listening to Elvis.5*****s and thanks J.T. for sending.Shirley

  • How would the 50's be remembered with out Elvis. For those that grew up them, he was the King of Rock and Roll. Plane and simple.

He was simply the best, both visually and vocally.

  • That's the way HE WAS,IS, and ALWAYS WILL BE! Anyway YOU want HIM! I want his voice any way he can give it. BEAUTIMUSS. AB SO BEAUTIMUSS!!

  • Amazing!

  • I can't sing so here's my promise to you

  • at times ,he really use to looks sad.

  • coooool

  • is this girl presilla?

  • Star24Dar,

No, this was before Priscilla's time--1956, I think. The young lady in these photos was Barbara Hearn (I think I have her name correct). =)

  • The lady in these photo's is Barbara Hearn. I know her personally and will be having dinner with her tomorrow night and will show her the clip - she will love it! Thanks for sharing....

  • waw !! can I get her autograph ok just tell her she,s still gorgeous

    brit cliff

  • @jmccamy90 If you're serious, please tell us how Barbara Hearn is doing and what she's involved in.

  • Star24Dar No, he didn't know her then .

  • got to leave you elvis, jobs to be done adios

  • No one like him or ever will be.

  • beautiful song!! hugs & kisses Elvis!!!!!

  • This man is a LEGEND and is the greatest singer/performer of all time. I became an Elvis fan at the age of 5 just by seeing him on tv. No one is like the KING!!! He is a legend...and a legend LIVES FOREVER!

  • Im with you acceitunas hes a legend and the other is not an Elvis fan thnakyou.;

  • dont you dare taint my memory of this great man you are NOT an elvis fan, proberly some dumb a**e kid who watches tarrentino films leave elvis to the 53yr old woman who loved him.

  • <3 i absolutely love elvis! you're right that he is a wonderful man, however i would like to say that i'm fifteen and don't think it's fair to call kids "dumb a**es" when we can be just as passionate and knowledgeable about topics esp. those regarding elvis. haha. thanks for understanding where i'm coming from.

  • Elvis often made it difficult to understand lyrics because he got them wrong. This song would only makes sense if he had sung "to take and to 'MOLD' as you may."

  • what are you talking about.

  • This was the first record I ever bought, a 45 with the flip side Love Me Tender - 50 years ago!

  • beautiful song this here is, it was one of the 1st ELvis Presley songs i've heard as a boy and ever since i've loved his music!! R.I.P ELvis!

  • Wonderful Elvis He's the Best, And always will be. GREAT SONG.

  • In the UK, this was the flip side of "Love Me Tender." I bought it but never played the 'A' side. This is a much better song - in my opinion.

  • In the 50's and early 60's he had this magic in his voice. Later on his voice became average

  • true then at the end he was gettin it back

  • I love Elvis and this song.

  • What a voice, Ill remember this as long as I live !

  • The woman in this clip, IS Barbara Hearn, she is my mother. The photo's were taken July 4th, 1956. The song they were dancing and listening to was "Don't be Cruel". As for any comments that were made in "Life" magazine, those are not factual, and completely inaccurate, not to mention in poor taste on the writers part. Anything to sell a magazine I suppose. Just thought I'd clear that misconception up for any other viewers.

  • Question, Dont be cruel was recorded July 2nd 1956 in NYC after the steve allen show, how was a copy in Memphis so fast? maybe it was another song. ?

  • It was not another song, they were dancing to and listening to the demo record of "Don't Be Cruel" that Elvis brought home with him.

  • July 2nd in NYC Elvis recorded Hound Dog, Don't Be Cruel and Any Way You Want Me. He immediately took a train to Memphis, carrying acetates of the recordings, so he could easily have been there July 4th. Elvis and Barbara (what a classy girl!) would've likely listened, possibly danced, to all three acetates. Elvis's grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley, not his mother Gladys, was in the room with Barbara and Elvis.

  • tell us about it!! what was your mom doing with him. was she a fan or girlfriend. i bought the book that these pics came from "Elvis 21, New York to Memphis" fantasic book... god, what a man

would love to hear the story...

    Mollie

  • @Nikki3653 Fun to read your comment setting the record straight. You've got to know your mother will be a beloved part of the Elvis pop culture forever. Tell us more of how all of this has impacted your mother....and you. Thanks.

  • What a voice. Surely the ultimate wedding song.

  • wonderful!!!

  • Whoever does not love Elvis, does not love much in life.

  • Beautiful song and beautiful video...Thanks for posting.

  • aww i love this song sooo much! im only 13 .. if only i was born earlier :( i miss him

  • love the song..i can tell he sings with alot of passion on this one

  • How wonderfully talented he was.

    I sure miss him.

  • he was a great looking guy who turn into one hunk of a handsome man.i except him for what he was; a actor singer and the kind hearted man that he was. thanks for sharing your video.

  • Thank you elvis for giving us this great music of yours and when some people say you suck well they must have bad tased in music r.i.p

  • Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaa I'm be Cry.....Beautiful song, thanks you

  • reminds me when i was 10..my mom loved elvis then i started to..he was so goodlooking

  • Who's that girl he's with in some of the pictures?

  • one of his girlfriends,June something

  • I dont know if it is June or not,but if it is, she is June Juanico, his first real love and the girl his mom wanted him to marry.June never fell out of love with Elvis and wrote a beautiful book titled something like "Elvis:In the Twilight of Memory".she always believed one day she and Elvis would get back together. His career and fame took him away from her.

  • The girl's name was/is Barbara Hearn, a girlfriend. Allegedly Elvis was flirting with her(to this song!) but she was a little shy because Gladys was nearby and in the pictures of Elvis sitting in the chair with her nearby he was "sulking." So says LIFE magazine anyway. Great song.

    LB

  • superb song!

  • He was THE hottest guy I've ever seen. Hands down. that smile, those eyes, that hair, the voice. He was just an A+. Many try to be him, but in the end he was the one and only. There will never be another man like him. and it makes me sad :(

  • he was the most handsomest of men this is comin from a straight guy he just had it whatever it is he had it spades and still the best voice ever created shame he never ever learnt to write songs

  • Good video.

  • I think it's one of the best love songs by him too :) I love it.

  • Now this is Elvis at his very best I think! No doubt! Raw, young and powerful voice...nothin of that early/mid 60s and 70s crap! Like the 68 comeback though...the part with Scotty Moore and the other guys :)

  • some of Elvis' best music came from the 1970s. Burning Love is one of his all-time greats. The Wonder Of You, Way Down, Moody Blue, TROUBLE, There's A Honky Tonk Angel, not to mention his version of Promised Land (which is much better than the original). Presleys 1970's material, as popular as it was at the time, is underrated and contains gems equal to his 1950s output.

  • One of the most beautiful ballads of all time. Really no one has ever come near to his level

  • agreed. smokin!

  • If only, I could have met or seen him concert! If any of you have please tell me what it was like!

  • All women loved him and men everywhere wanted to be him! He was envied by everyone! MPE72, you are right all of the pictures are smokin' hot! He's the hottest man ever! He lives for an eternity!

  • This is great! Some of these pictures I haven't seen before, the song is great too! Elvis was very young here, I loved him always and always will. The best performer of all time, just a real down to earth guy, loved by everyone. Beautiful man, charisma, sexy, he had the total package. Long Live the King! TCB.

  • Love the song...love the man...

  • some of them pix are smokin!!..actually all of them are

  • His performance of this song is brilliant!

  • Wonderful.

  • Nice!
