@edvill82 You need to install the kobo desktop manager and plug your Kobo in, once its installed and use the desktop manager to register your kobo

Your no supposed to take the cord out until you "eject it"

question.... you know most cell phone chargers are now have USB cord that can attach to AC adaptor. the question is, can i plug the kobo usb charger to that AC adaptor for charging other than charging it using your computer or laptop?

@edvill82 no, but you can use your cell phone usb charger cord to recharge the kobo ereader

Don't forget about the new Kobo Wirelesss which addresses allot of the faults of the original device. Also, you cannot buy the nook outside of the USA, unless you purchase it from Shopereaders
