Yeah it is true, the bird was more irritated than scared and I doubt the owners would have done it if they didn't trust the cat but still, I wouldn't fancy it!
The bird is obviously used to being with the cat; It doesn't show the slightest fear. The owner should be trusted to know his pets better than anyone. This video has been included in the "best animal videos" collection at the animal-video . net web site.
YouTubers like Heatherbtime & TALKINblahBLaHbLAh actually know & understand something about animals, unlike people like Dignity825 & worldnewslover. The latter should learn something about animals before they speak & not be so self-righteously ignorant. They could end up hurting an animal if they act before they actually learn & understand about their nature, & indeed about nature itself. Animals are not baby humans or stuffed animals.
@Dignity825 the cat went in the cage on it's own. most likely the cat and the bird are used to being around each other. it looked like they where both used to one another bugging eachother. Just like i have a cat and a dog and sometimes they snuggle up and sleep beside eachother and other times the dog chaces my cat outsid. but my cat likes to follow him around untill he finally will turn around and chase her. they are wonderful togeather but they still like bugging one another.
@faixer and I would have to say that you are an ignorant fuck for basing a whole population on a few. Open you eyes and learn a little more about the world.
@SENSAYSIERRA actually im so perfecet that i know that putting a big cat in a cage with a small bird is the worst idea ever, unless youre into animal torture. this is really stupid
Parakeets are one of the most intelligent parrot family birds and completely underappreciated due to their modest price and breeding ability. They are much more intelligent than cats and dogs, to put it mildy. It is obvious the way the parakeet sized up the situation and escaped quickly. I adore parrot family birds. Studies put them up with dolphins and chimps as to intelligence!! It doesn't surprise me at all.
@flashash2k9 the cage had no bottom, so if anything would have went wrong, they simple would have lifted the cage, and boom. birdie is now out of harms way.
so.... how whould you feel if you were locked in a fucking cage and someone stuffed a T-rex into it?.... thats what i thought... this bird must have feared and pissed its pants for its life in this situation...
@Jakzerstoren In a normal situation, this would be cruel and I would probably agree with you. But obviously they knew the cat wouldn't actually harm the bird, otherwise I highly doubt they'd just let it crawl in there with it. The bird wasn't as afraid as you make it sound. When birds are frightened, they get extremely small and skinny, but if you notice, it stays relatively large throughout the video.
CLASSIC!!
