Awwww - he may look like a carpet, but does he look angry?? Most people really wouldn't want to, and SHOULDN'T, have a badger as a "pet". They are difficult to maintain as far as their housing requirements, early-training needs, predatory behaviors, etc...Magoo was unique and is here to share an amazing side of a species that most people may never see in their lifetime.
I find their behaviour very similar to wolverines, probably because both belong to the weasel family. The ones I've seen that were hand-raised by humans seem to love all the hands-on attention, and seem very affectionate. I wish people would leave them alone- the mere mention of a badger around here will send a bunch of louts with guns looking for it.
@bbphnix Yes - a cornered wild badger is powerful and dangerous. Mostly Badgers are very shy and would rather not be noticed at all than have to fight. I would say they are not so much aggressive(as most people think), but actually defensive.
what did you mean by "we finally had to pen him up, though because pretty hard on the local population"? was he biting other animals or did the local people not want a badger in their yards?
Yes - a very happy badger - we named him Magoo because he was so little when he came - just barely opened his eyes - and for the longest time he would get excited while he was playing and run so fast he'd crash into the furniture.

The most aggressive animal in the kingdom. Even bears are terrified.
