  • @zenzorism - as I ran out of characters I continue here - during the lap, it was never apparent to me, sitting in the X6M, that the driver was trying to stop you from overtaking. He was trying to go fast, and of course there has to be an ideal line for that. Overtaking within the braking zone is not such a good idea, though is it, and if you could not keep up on the straights, what should he do? Maybe if you have on board video you could share it, so we could see things from your point of view?

  • @TonyBrQ

No sorry no Onboard, it´s not allowed @ Touristenfahrten so I regullary don´t do any onboards. About let overtake, I don´t want to discuss the let overtake issue here but it´s generally a problem for the Ringtaxidrivers. The Ringtaxicrash issue is also something not to be discussed here on YT but there were several cars that reached the roadworks before the Ringtaxi and no one of them caused an accident.

  • The X6M was not chased by the E36 it was blocking the E36 in every corner.

Sorry for that declaration but I was driving the E36 ;-)

Yes off course this family home on wheels is quite fast at the straight. :D

Was this fabolous instructor the same hero that smashed the Ringtaxi in 2011 into several cars altough he knew that there were road works and who is known at the Touristenfahrten for his problem to let faster cars overtake?

  • @zenzorism In answer to your question, I don't know, because I don't which instructor was involved in the accident. Having seen the "after" pictures it seems likely to me that the Ring Taxi driver was not the cause of the accident, but crested the hill to find a large number of stationary vehicles (which he would not be expecting merely because the sign was up for barrier repairs). In my opinion the accident was caused by an inexperienced driver braking too hard for the lane restriction.

  • @ 3:59 E63 (BMW) ?!

  • u need navigation on that track or u can be lost lol

  • Love the X-series BMW's, and especially the M-series, looks really cool that a 4x4 (SUV) is keeping up with a 1-series and a 3-series, good job

  • the ride comfort looks terrible, all the bumps and noise. I like the X6M and would love to see more videos of it flying around a race track.

  • @morphius44 had the same thought from all those car reviewers as well. Till i went in one as a passenger. Absolutely sublime, you do feel the bump now and again, but ride quality and sound intrusion is top notch

  • @orangmiri cool, I think me and you are the only people in the world who like its styling. That V8 is a great engine though!

  • @morphius44 Um...its not bumpy, it just that the person who holds the camera doesnt hold it steady. And its not really noisy, camera picks noises differently, and they drive over 200 km/h almost all the time.

  • This should be the commercial for BMW! If they can make such a big SAV go around the nurburgring like that, then they have achieved the impossible. Amazing video and car!

  • love bmws, love the engine... but really no love for X6. chunky.

  • Very soft ride, i want this car im my hands on this track to beat the shit out of engine and other cars, which would dare to chase me :)

  • @MrAlex530i yeah right an I'm the kaiser from china!

  • incredible shifting sound !!!! hell yeah :)

  • camera is pretty hsit fukin dizzy n sht

  • KEEP THE CAMERA STEADY!!! You;re making me dizzy

  • @MrLoose26 - yeah, thanks for your insight

  • the numbr of skilled drivers on youtube is staggering.. i guess road would be safer if could actually stay behind their screens

  • This was such a fun video to watch. Went by waaay too fast. Looks like a good handler but choppy ride.

  • That's like a 4,800lb SUV on the Nordschleife. Incredible.

  • that looks like an uncomfortable ride

  • @MrBazpoker you are the funniest person here..man ! :D D: D: :D :D :D D: D

  • That driver is scary good - He is a calm as the other side of the pillow!! Reminds me of the stig from that British program .. (forget the name someone help me out)

  • @thebionicpig Top Gear, the best ;D

  • @AlexMickeyMichalik Thanks Alex....

  • Yeah! It happens to these guys also, lol

I wish we had his job huh!?

  • @mariohpb - I have to disagree with your comment on the driver, given that:

    1. He is one of the leading instructors in the BMW Driver Training programme

    2. He was responsible for fine tuning the X6M chassis and handling characteristics

  • @TonyBrQ wow...I though he was the Stig! ¬¬

  • @TonyBrQ I think what mariohpb is saying is the driver could have drove better not there is a better driver

  • @TonyBrQ

that's all good.. but ain't worth of crap if you don't have ballz for a faster drive..

  • @MaSteRbLaSteRBG

Was there a point you were trying to make?

  • @TonyBrQ

yes the point is, it doesn't matter if he is responsible for fine tuning the X6M chassis and all that, that doesn't means that he is a good race driver.. ( sorry for bad english) :)

  • @MaSteRbLaSteRBG Your balls are obviously so big you couldnt see the screen because this dudes driving an x6, hes going as fast as it will let him.

  • @aidan21 well, never underestimate people you don't know..

  • @TonyBrQ ahaha fine tuning?

Handling, its an x6, handling goes out the window...

  • @mariohpb your brains could be better..next time check if they r present before posting a stupid comment.

  • @mariohpb this driver is really, really good...if you closely examine his execution you would see that he is obviously a professional

  • @mariohpb we clearly weren't watching the same video if you think that bloke is a shit driver. unless your michael schumacer shut the fuck up you clown.

  • @mariohpb This is not Gran Turismo or Forza man! When I got my 760 there it was a great challenge for me, took many many laps to drive half as good as him! Are you Sebastian Vettel or someone like him?

  • @diego750il 760, the new one or old? blame the G force, if u replicate what is done in GT and Forza u would see it's like exactly the same, the only difference is the lack of G force experienced inside the car, once u get used to the G force it's the same

  • @AntDX316 The new one, well the 2010. I know the G force is a bitch, it took a lot of effort to take an "easy" corner at 50 mph because of it. I need more experience, I have visited the Nurburgring just 2 times, I hope I could go everyday but I dont even live in Germany.

  • @diego750il do u fly ur car across the world? how much is it and how long does it take?

  • @AntDX316 Of course not! That would cost a lot, I think. I do a lot of business travels across Europe and I have the opportunity to stop in the Nurburgring sometimes, the 760 is the car I use in Germany and Spain, it belonged to a friend but I bought it from him.

  • @diego750il isn't it right hand drive there? how did u drive one with a left hand and how much is it to race there? what type of racing license and how much it cost to get it?

  • @AntDX316 Nope, in Germany it´s left hand drive. You dont need a racing license, a normal one will be enough and it costs me like 18 euros a lap, I think it depends on the car, I am not sure.

  • @diego750il yea

  • A Fantastic automobile. BRAVO,BMW!!!!!

The best suv/sav in the world. There's only one beast that can make competition to X6 M. And that's BMW X5 M.
