I don't know much about FMOD yet, but I do know music and games and I truly love how you pushed the creative envelope, especially with the part about having the music die down when the player is stuck or not making progress. I can't tell how you annoying it's been to be stuck in a game and the music be stuck right along with me. Glad more folks are focusing on the little things!
@GregoryCharlesV Hello Gregory, thanks for writing. I am really glad that you enjoyed the song and the work in general. Gotta agree with you, small details and little things do matter! If you are into music I would recommend taking a loot at FMOD. Best regards!
Do you have an external blog or anything where you explain (or can explain) music cues in Fmod? I've been doing all my adaptive music using multi-track events, which has its limits. I love the music by the way! Looking forward to Fmod studio?
@InsaneAcorn I´m glad you liked the music. I have no blog, altough I tried to come up with one exclusively dealing with FMOD, but unfortunately spare time became something rare for me this year. If you read carefully the FMOD manual, you will find that the main idea behind adaptive music is quite simple, though the process takes quite a while sometimes. Maybe if you have a specific question/doubt I can help you. And yeah, looking forward to Fmod Studio!!! Cheers
STANDING O!!!
