There's a great book that just came out called 'The Chopper Caper' by my late father, George Dorsey and Dr Ronald Moore about a couple of renegade pilots in 1969 who fly these and, after taking an unauthorized TDY to Oregon, take one and use it to pick up an armored car off the freeway with $3 million in cash inside. Do they get away with it? Excellent reading--good character development and detailed military accuracies. It will make a great movie soon!!! Screenplay goahead given 9-12

Interesting. Sony Pictures script development guy called me about 4 years ago researching the same scenario except putting the Aircrane in Florida stealing an armored car with a grapple during a hurricane. Can't wait to see the movie.
