Wonderfully impressive movie. Jim Carrey was brilliant as Andy Kaufman. When it comes to put Carrey's best films (in acting department) my vote authomatically goes to Man On The Moon and The Truman Show. He deserved the Oscar or at least being nominated for this award. Courtney Love was great too - very underrated as an actress.
@Magnolia296 Not an oscar... it was just basic method acting and didn't involve any emotional radiance at all. He was simply copying the movements and voice of Andy, and nothing else. A golden globe was enough... people who say he deserved an oscar don't understand real acting.
@DanLetts97 It wasn't just basic method acting, he could get into the character and make it real. In Man On The Moon, Jim Carrey wasn't Jim Carrey, he WAS Andy. That's real acting.
@DanLetts97 And perhaps people with a profile called DanLetts97 don't understand the concept of others being entitled to a personal opinion! I don't think he deserved an oscar either but it doesn't mean I have a greater understanding of acting than anyone else.
What do you mean? This is the orchestral version of "Man On The Moon", to be found on the soundtrack for that movie. I don't think that a longer version exists.

Carrey was brilliant.... the screenplay was shoddy. VERY shoddy. It was virtually a cliff notes version of Kaufmans life.

@Ball1800 If you don't think he deserved an oscar then you DO know more about acting than some others. Congrats!!

I have the soundtrack, and it is absolutely an amazing one. this track easily defines the legend that is Kaufman. this and great beyond.
