Great song and great movie, i loved the movie since i was 10 back in 92 and one of my fave animated movies. I had a crush on Kit Mambo since i always had a fascination for catgirls since Cheetara, Cleo and M'ress from Star Trek animated in the 80's

I have not seen any of the Animalympics stuff since me and my kid brother used to watch it repeatedly on VHS in the 80s. I remembered all the words to this song, even up to now. Seeing it again for the first time in years has made me weep

I used to listen to this song over and over again as a kid. I even recorded it on tape just to listen to it in the car with my family... those were the days. Anyway, great song and great video!

I didn't know this gem by Graham.

It must be my beloved song this period.

I listen to Graham since the 10cc period and of course his old compositions back in the 60's.

However, this song is his anthem in my opinion.

Yes, this is a representation of him in France and how he is loved by all, but he's not truly loved. This is why when he chases the gold he doesn't feel love and longs for a companion when he picks up the rose at the end. No one was there at the end of the race.

He ran beside Kit Mambo until he finally fell in love with her in the movie. And that was their last race, they ran off together into the sunset. This is information from Steven Lisberger that I picked up along the way.
