I disagree about the comment about Spock not having an emotional life. Spock struggled with his emotions. He was half HUMAN, for goodness sake!

Unlike Tuvok, who was fully Vulcan. Anyway I think Obama at least LOOKS more like Tuvok. (No, that was not rascist, I was simply comparing 2 individuals.)

Spock is not a dirty word, you know. The right-wing pundits thought that they could make fun of Mr. Obama's cool demeanor and looks (those ears! those cheekbones! those lips!) by labeling him as "Spock," but it had exactly the opposite effect. Trekkies admire Spock. We can't get enough of him, actually. I think the Star Trek vote had a lot to do with putting him over in Iowa.

Well, though I think this comment was very rude, nor do I agree that she is a has-been. In fact Kate is the best actress I have ever seen and it remains so! I love her very much as a person. But I do agree to an extent. I have a hard time with people who think that a celebrities opinion should matter more because of their status in the entertainment world.
