Even tho the coloring of season two seems better than the job done on season, I find it a nice change of pace watching one in the original B&W.

For the record, this postdates the Crockett craze by a few years (Crockett was 1954-1955; this episode was 1958, and actually borrows a character from "The Saga of Andy Burnett" series from 1957)

In a way this was like a Davy Crockett pilot. It was a few years later that Crockett became a national craze.

I can't remember Don Carlos' real name - he was Dr. Smith in LOST IN SPACE - also with Guy Williams.
