Delta Airlines take-off at Stuttgart airport

it's nice that they land on the 25 and start on the 07 every morning, so i can see them everyday, inbound at quarter to 9 and outbound 10 past 11 am

They take off from rwy 07 mostly, but sometimes they also land on that runway. I love it when that happens, since I would be able to see it. Always a great sight –– easily the biggest aircraft that comes in for landing at that time.

They always land on the active runway - either 07 or 25. Regarding the take-off, it is mostly runway 07. Sometimes it's the active one anway. And if not, it depends on the weight of the aircraft and the wind conditions. In some situations they can use runway 25 when it is the active one. If the weight is too heavy but the wind okay, they can use runway 07 even though runway 25 may be in use. Worst case would be to take RW 25 fuel and stop for fuelenroute (Bangor mostly).

tolles Video an dieser Stelle des Airports habe ich heute die Condor 757-300 gefilmt. Ich stand jedoch direkt am Zaun. :-)
