mate that was different, ivebeen tiling 25 years and from this video youmake it look very hard harder than what it is. using tonnes of mud/bedding is a no no cement sucks water in less mud less fuss any way thats what we do in australia good luck.

oh my god you have 28 years exp, my friend your mix far too strong and when you lay a tile you must damp off the underside of the tile just a hand mister works fine , carl f has great buckets with the bottom cut out so u can leave the bucket safe when your not holding it, and the people who sell alot of screws sell metal arches which you can screw batten on so you keep a straight line and lay the bed of motar against it ,
I clean .before i remove .... better bonding , plus this new clay cement mix i have ...25 + plus :)
