Dr. Chaos would be awesome as a modernized third-person game in the style of Bionic Commando or Splatterhouse (but without the attempts to make it "hip" by adding heaping loads of unnecessary vulgarity). Of course, it would also make a good FPS game. Some aspects of it remind me of 'Last Half of Darkness' combined with elements of the movie 'The Kindred'. At least two of the monsters are directly inspired by the movie 'House' (the American one, not the Japanese)

As for the filming a bit more, low level, fill lighting might have helped avoid points where arm shadows ended up across your face and other moments where the shadows were just a bit much.

Actually, they're talking a completely different approach. AVGN mocks older games and displays how stupid the designers were. Ace and Chet admire the old games and, well, are hilarious in the process.

They treat their NES like we treat our Wii. I like it cuz it brings me back to my early gaming years. So, if you don't get it, cool, but no need to bring the negativity to such an AWESOME video!
