If you take all of Boston's sport Championships you get 24 , 6 for the Red Soxs 3 in recent times for the Bruins 3 for the Patriots and 12 for the Celtics, That is not even counting the Bruins Stanley Cups or any other teams wins before 1950 so how many has your city won in that time period?

The bruins have the second best record in the Eastern Conference. Aside from the Patriots, the B's C's and Sox have been a part of the city forever. we have always supported all our teams through the rough years....celtics....red sox....patriots. The Bruins are more of a staples to our city than the Revs or BC...who both by the way...choked at the end of their seasons

Just making the playoffs should NEVER be the goal of a professional sports team. That is where the Bruins go wrong. You can blame the management for the lack of depth and talent on that team. Bruins management has been guilty for far too long of neglecting the fans and not putting up a good, exciting product, and a CUP winning one at that, I might add. It's about time that the thinking changed, if there is any hope to bring back any of the glory that this team once gave it's fans.
