  • Is this the 1st or 2nd concerto of Brahms???

  • @SamuelConcepcion

    it´s the first one.

  • The most incredible performances, there is something magical by the way he touches your soul..

  • @pianotonton

    I absolutly AGREE with you!

je suis de meme avis que vous!

  • I'm not entirely familiar with Brahm's works. What piece is this?

  • @vvvmmm Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor, second movement. Absolutely gorgeous, buy it if you don't own it.

  • Gracias por la info!!!! Era lo que estaba buscando hace mucho tiempo! Gracias!

  • so fake, no simplicity

  • @banway I'll have to agree with you on this one although i am a fan of the director. Pianists these days dig up ways to make themselves look like assholes. That wouldn't be a problem if their music reflected half the "emotions" that their bodies claim.

  • @th3wing3dpaint3r

you know, I´m convinced that to sense the emotions one needs to be on the same "wave" with the soloist and the orchester as well. I´d like to hear this concerto with Piotr and Dudamel in the full version. It´s too difficult and impossible to judge about this interpretation through 2-3 min of it!

  • download? where? please :)

  • Incredible. Anderszewski and Dudamel together. 3 minutes of bliss. Too bad the whole performance isn't on video. Or is it somewhere?

  • @unoaked , oh, this wonderful move includes only a few part of this Brahms piano concerto and actually there is no recording to this concert, such a shame. I hope, they both, Piotr and Dudamel, will find together one day again, I ´d like to listen to this concert, it seems to be overwhelming...

  • so beautiful this music... thank you so much...

  • Heaven on earth!

That strange reclusive behavior is called practicing.

  • @vsongster , no, it calles and surely means INTERPRETING (PLAYING), FEELING and EXPRESSING own feeling due piano.....I suppose

  • Aha. And what are YOU world famous in? (not violin at least.) This "reclusive" guy is now one of the world's leading pianists! With a well-known capacity to communicate with his audiences!

  • @kpslupskishawca , Piotr didn´t make this movie about HIMSELVES, Bruno´Monsaingeon made this movie about, according to Monsaingeon, "..about fascinating misician, an anigmatic and multifaceted man....music remained the central theme of this adventure.." Besides, he also made movies with or about Richter and Glen Goulds....

  • I love...

  • This is one of my favorite videos.

  • Andersewszki is the most sensibel and humblest pianist and a deeply wise man.

  • Arrogant? Andersewski??? It can be a misunderstand.

Yes, art comes from weaknesses, The best of masterpieces comes from the greatest weaknesses of the author. Beethoven ix,, Mozart s Requiem ..and so on, ALL of FREDERYK CHOPIN.

  • but this guy says brahms has no weaknesses. therefore you say he has no masterpieces?

  • @tedgoh

I think the word "weakness" is misunderstand. He is perhaps not to good in english (he expresses himself not too different, very simple), he is polish-hungarian (hung,. like me). Weakness could means phisically, psichically (mentally too) states or so on. He did not explained exactly what he thougt about, i mean. Natural Brahms wrote masterpieces, he was perfect composer (but what was inside?) and he likes and plays Brahms really emphatic.

  • @illamary , I suppose, he means exaktly what he said, in Polish and German alike he said "Weaknesses"...unfortunatly, I don´t understand France therefore I can´t claim he said in France same, surely, he can better express himself in France or in Polish, you´re right...

  • @uhfqacdfkml

Thanks your reply. (He speaks hungarian too),

  • @illamary , yes I know it as well, but this movei hasn´t subtitles in Hungarian or heselfes doesn´t speak, I mean while whole movie, hungarian

  • ¡Fantástico!
