  • @1122aalleexx sorry bud but i have to disagree and agree with you at the same time, ima former airman i have deployed to the middle east, and i took an oath the same oath that the president and the rest of congress and those jackasses took, part of that oath is to defend the constitution of the US from all enemys foriegn and domestic, if you opose that oath it is treason on all terms

  • @buckmaster16365 sorry bud guns dont kill people its the person behind that trigger that makes the decision wether or not that person dies not to disrespect you on that statement but i love my firearms and i open carry everywhere i go in las vegas, nv except those dedicated spots where its not legal to but anyways the gun doesnt pull its own trigger its mearly another tool to do harm thats like saying cars kill people well yea they do when a drunk runs someone down its people who kill

  • You are correct and nice vid, but you are incorrect at 3:12 that only the military and law enforcement are the only ones that can purchase said weapon. You just have to jump threw the hoops of atf and be will to pay 3.5 k for the cheapest ones I know of the uzi or mac10 or11 the M-16 I would love to have right now is 14.7k. I can even purchase them with my 03 ffl.

  • trying to ban firearms is an act of tyranny to leave the people of this nation unable to defend themselves from the fascist government

  • what is that third rifle?? that thing makes me horny.....

  • Comment removed

  • I like how we devise new and wonderful ways to kill each other, followed by people bagging it. Human nature, if you are arguing you are as bad as the person who uses the weapon. You just use words as bullets, don't be blind, realise this. Crazy mad, go the gun... Scared of loud noises, use words as bullets.... You are all the same to me.

  • Good on you posting that many comments Losertarian.

  • Great Video and a Great Job Telling the Uninformed the Truth!

  • killing, its what humans do best... theres no way you can justify a semi-auto weapon for hunting purposes. and home defence, thats only required due to the easy of obtaining weapons. It's a vicious circle that has taken over the US. i wonder how many more hormone riddled teenage killing sprees it will take to change the constitution... a sad state of affairs...

  • Killing is what humans do best. And they do it with guns, and knives, and bats, and hammers, and pointy sticks, and rocks. They even kill using their hands and feet. Should ALL those things be taken away?

The Constitution doesn't need changing. I like my freedom of speech, and my right to bear arms, and my right to vote, and to not incriminate myself. I like my right to due process, and the right to not have the government take from me what they wish.

  • the point is that guns are so easily available that criminals can readily buy them. if the only people allowed to have guns were the police, citizens wouldnt need to be armed because the criminals wouldnt be armed with more then a knife.

Have you ever killed someone with a knife? its a bit harder than point and shoot. if someone were to come into my place with a knife i lock my door and wait for the police, its harder getting through a door with a knife than a gun.

  • Up until this year, Washington D.C. has had a complete handgun ban. Criminals still obtained weapons, as they always will, through illegal means.

A knife is more dangerous than a firearm at close range. As for hiding behind a locked door, I don't trust my safety to a door that might be broken down as I wait for the police. In some places it can take the police 20 minutes or more to respond. IF they respond. They do not have any obligation to respond. That has been upheld in court.

  • you dont get my point of view, you never will. And i will never agree with the apparent need to have a weapon on me, it can turn a simple road rage incident into a fatal gun fight. The problem is that people are impulsive and emotional, you cant put the fate of another person in your own hand, youre not a godly figure (im not religious btw so thats not whats going to save me from a criminal), (less) common sense will

  • Here in Florida, USA there are approximately 520 Concealed Weapons License Holders in the State. That is a fraction of the legal gun owners.

The impulsive road-rage, turned fatal gun-fight you mention should likely happen daily based on those statistics, if you were right. But it doesn't. Because the responsibility of carrying a firearm is not taken lightly by everyone. There are some, sure. You will find that among all people. Including police officers who abuse their right to a weapon.

  • isn't that more like 520 thousand? And not all of those are Florida residents. Many non residents obtain Florida CWLs because of the wide reciprocity afforded.

  • Jazz, you're right, I mis-typed that. There are better than a half million Concealed Weapons Permits in Florida, and it's not the wild west here.

  • home defence...what a ridiculous word. so you are saying that about 96% of the world population (4% in the US) who has no "constitutional right" to own a firearm is in dander at home? ever heard of the word police? some we manage to be safe but you guys don't..see, if obtaining a firearm would be banned, criminals would have it hard to get one. don't stick to 200-300 year old laws. welcome to civilisation.

  • Not everyone is in danger at home, whether they own a firearm or not. Most people who own firearms will never use it defensively, or criminally.

However, should they need it, shouldn't they have it? If that criminal comes looking for trouble in the dark of night at your door, shouldn't you be able to defend yourself with the best available defense?

    I think so.

  • how about another thing, childish curiosity. if a law abiding citizen owns a firearm for self defence theyre not going to keep that weapon in a safe unloaded with the rounds in another safe (which is the law). Theyre going to keep that weapon under their pillow, loaded, so they can defend themselves which is where childish curiosity comes into it, who didnt sneak into their parents bedroom and poke around when they were small? Then Blamo, no more kid

  • First off, as you are not from the USA, I don't expect you to be familiar with our laws. It is not the law in all states for the ammunition to be locked separately from the firearm.

Secondly, a RESPONSIBLE owner will keep their firearm either on their person, or locked where their children cannot get to it.

Gun-owner doesn't mean stupid, reckless, etc.

More children die each year in swimming pools than by accidents with firearms. Educating your children about firearms is important.

  • The Second Amendment has nothing to do with hunting or self-defence, at least not in the sense of defending yourself against an intruder. It's intent is to help the private citizen insure that their goverment doesnt get out of control and turn into a tyranny. Thats a dirtly little secret that too many shy away from now days. They shouldnt because even though its bold and unsettleling to many, it also is the most defensible. On those grounds those who attack the second amendment must

  • argue that the people do not have the right to defend themselves against an overreaching and oppresive goverment. When it is a goverment official who argues this (and after all who else could do so with any authority) then it shows the most obvious "conflict of interest" imaginable. Now I ask you with all due respect ChildInc, without guile or sarcasam because you have kept your arguments civil and didnt resort to name calling. What hope would you possibly have if the Australian (god forbid)

  • Goverment went the way of so many throughout history and began rounding up dissidents and those they believed to be unsavory and put them in death camps or torture prisons? What would you do? Call the police? The police would be the ones doing the "rounding up". Call you local goverment official to help you? They are the ones who want you dead. What are you going to do? Yes I know 'what if" questions can become stupid and pointless at times, but these are very real, very possible senarios.

  • These are senarios that happened in Nations such as China, Russia (Soviet Union), and Germany. Yes that peaceful Germany where noone ever dies from gun crimes. Hitler took power and immediately called for the reginstration of all firearms, then follwed by confiscation. What happend later doesnt need to be recounted. My apologies to g33kspeak for the multiple postings. I got carried away and by the time I was into it I decided to finish it lol. Hope I helped rather than hurt. Live free or die.

  • the funny part is, if a person has bad intentions, the person would be better off having a semi automatic rifle since (say for hunting) most semi automatic rifles are very good at long range in terms of accuracy and power. a AK-47 is pretty much useless on long range but effective on short range. how about not giving weapon out so freely? is interesting to see that Europe is pretty safe without citizens having firearms. why not the same in the US..? but yes, its an industry that needs feeding.

  • efesair ill bury all my firearms before some asshole comes and trys to take away my constitutional right to own a firearm i dont care how violent it gets i know if someone breaks in my house there ass will get shot so dont say takin them away will solve anything but takin away home defence

  • Excellent. The confusion on this subject (whether out of ignorance or willful dishonesty) has frustrated me for years now. This video is a superb definition of what a REAL Assault Rifle is.

  • wow. that is sad how people dont know half of the stuff on this vid. its horrible. thax for taking the time to elaborate on the subject for the hunting/ sporting community.

  • This is about the best explanation of this subject I have ever seen. Those dingbat Democrats who have seen too many episodes of Miami Vice need to see this simple, ten-minute video. I doubt it will change their minds, because they have an agenda to steal your God-given Freedom from you, one tiny piece at a time. They begin the march toward slavery with that tool with which you can best defend yourself from tyranny, so they come for your guns. Vote Republican. And NEVER give up your guns!

  • GO CONSERVATIVES. I Hunt and love it...

  • an assault rifle is a a weapon combining the power and accuracy of a rifle and the firepower and lightweight of the submachine gun. It should have selectable fire between semi-automatic and fully automatic. Assault rifles use ammunition smaller than main rifle and machine gun calibers. If the gun does not match any one of these specifications (minus the ammunition size) the weapon is not an assault rifle.

  • Good video, I'd love to see something like this hit a major news network after another Cho incident when the gun control crowd stirs up.

  • +1 on that

  • The Second Amendment is an individual right. Great video! Thanks for the straightforward presentation!

  • what kind of hunting rifle is that?

  • Actually, civilians in certain states CAN OWN A FULLY AUTOMATIC MACHINE GUN WITH A CLASS 3 WEAPOONS PERMIT!!!

    - So, get your facts straight.

  • actually as a civilian you just need to get a $200 tax stamp to transfer a registered machine gun on a form 4.

  • wow what a fucking idiot. don't you understand that guns are a TOOL and also that it is most likely they have saved more lives then taken

  • ...

    ...

    ...

guns are tools, yes, but they have killed more people than they have directly "saved". If you mean they have saved more people indirectly by preventing an occupation or something then it would be true but then you would have to say that about most main battle weapons throughout history.

  • How do you think we have kept our freedom?

  • How is it a problem?

  • There might be a problem but its better than living in a place were if you have no guns and militants have all the guns. They can come in and use your mother and sister and you can to anything but cry.

  • Do you really feel so afraid?

  • thats because the game cannot shoot back. In a firefight the person who can shoot more rounds into the air in a small amount of time can win or escape. With a rifle you have only one chance to kill. You cannot fight a firefight. once your position is revealed you have to flee.

  • Wow, although still relevant, this Video was shot a LONG time ago, he metioned the stockton shooting & that was 1989

  • Fantastic. Now all we need is it to be made MANDATORY Viewing in all Journalism courses. But of course calling a firearm "a semi-automatic hunting rifle" doesn't have the emotion as "An Automatic Assault Rifle". But its never been about the difference, they want to get rid of ALL firearms. sigh.

  • Correct red, it's not about the truth, it's about a goal. Even when it's not a flat out lie, it's spun to help achieve the goal.

My Savage Model 10FP fires a .308 cartridge, but my DPMS fires a NATO 7.62x51mm. Which ammunition sounds worse? Which sounds like it will cause more damage? The military one, of course... What they fail to mention is that for all practical purposes - they're both the same.

  • Thank you! Too many people don't know the difference. Everyone should have a look at this video. And understand it!

  • Guns are designed to kill. period.

  • Guns are designed to throw rocks (purified minerals) really fast

anything else is the intention of the thrower. are rocks tied to sticks evil because primitive man used them to kill

  • or target shoot

  • Guns do kill. Aren't you glad you live in a country that gives you the right to defend yourself, your home, your family, and your freedom, with deadly force if necessary? I sure am.

  • eyelid16- you are right. but kill whom? Tyrants, murderers and scumbags that want to harm you or your family period. secondamendmentdocumentary dot com

  • According to Princeton University, an "assault rifle" is defined as:

    WordNet - Cite This Source

    assault rifle

    noun

any of the automatic rifles or semiautomatic rifles with large magazines designed for military use

    WordNet® 3.0, © 2006 by Princeton University.

  • see? i dont know if youre against or for my opinion, but see, "semiautomatic rifles with large magazines designed for military use "

  • I think the key words there, is "designed for military use". None of the civilian versions were designed for military use. They are look-a-likes. Replicas. Not the real deal.

  • okay, just thought that the semi ak had just fullauto disabled

  • are you confused?

    one is full auto

one is not, it is semi-auto

they look the same, they do not function the same

and did you listen to the second half of the video, even the ATF doesnt know what exactly is an assault rifle and what is not

by the military definition I have heard, an assault rifle must be capable of burst or full-auto fire

If you talk to anti-gun groups, anything is an assault rifle

  • I think the video was made during or pre 94. I am deducing this because during 1994 California was considering an "assault weapons" ban during the same time Clinton was trying to pass similar legislation. Both legislative moves were successful, in California and the federal government

  • really enjoyed the vid. he's very clear in stating the difference between semi and auto firing modes and i agree it would be a shame if the currently legal civilian weapons were to end up being illegal

  • thank you for your video, i am here in London and in less than 5 weeks the government want to ban the sale of immitation airsoft weapons that fire 6mm ball bearings, which is my sport, we only see any type of gun used here for crime and they want to ban the air guns we use for sport? not fair!

  • just out of curiosity dude, not trying to disrespect or ne thin, what the hell do you shoot with bb's? does target practising classify as a sport? the way bb guns get used around here is mostly to shoot cats, dogs, birds etc. once agen not being bad mannered just asking...

  • Airsoft is played like paintball. Its loads of fun and we play it here in the states to. The guns are replicas of real world firearms and can shoot in semi or full auto. The ammo fired is a 6mm plastic bb. Also don't think that those knock offs in walmart are the real thing, they are cheap crap. For a competition grade gun you can expect to pay $500+.

  • it was legal the guy was an ex marine/seal who together with his father in law owned a fitness center with a shooting range, my friend and his sister and mother were shot at their own home and their father at the fitness center, the guy was dressed in full combat gear packed with magazines and laser sighted weapons, they never stood a chance because he was trained to kill took every one out wit three shots in the head

  • Seems to me like the guy's lethal force training was far more deadly than the guns he was carrying. Deprive this guy of guns (via gun "control" laws) and he'll still be ten times deadlier than anybody else on the street.

  • I am sorry to hear about that, but the firearm used did not do the killing on its own. The man behind the firearm did. Was it a legal firearm? I would guess probably not. No one wants to see a firearm used in a crime, but legally owned firearms are used defensively to great effect. If your friend had owned a legal firearm, maybe the outcome would have been different. But the firearm was a tool in the hands of a killer, no different than had he used a hammer or knife.

  • Reguardless you have no clue what you are talking about. Banning firearms only insures that only criminals will have them and not law-abiding citizens. Just look at Washinton D.C. Pistols are banned there and yet it has one of the highest crime/murder rates in the country. Bsides that we have a Constitution that insures us a right to be armed.

  • the simple fact that you want me to explain that, explains it actually all

  • So in other words, you have no facts or anything solid to back up your argument. Hence, an illogical, emotional standpoint. Thanks for proving me right.

  • Why would it be safer if civilians were not allowed to own semi-auto or full auto firearms?

  • Very narrow-minded of you! Thanks for your comment!

  • Because you didn't even give a logical argument as to why they should all be banned. That's what makes it narrow-minded. Comes off as emotional instead of logical.

  • i wish more people understood this.

  • I'm from San Jose in fact. I'm glad to see this coming from our police department.

  • Anyone who has ever seen a gun should watch this clip.

  • must have been during the 10 year ban that clinton had, nowadays you can buy a full auto but you have to have a class 3 license

  • Even during the Clinton "Assault Weapons Ban" you kid still by full-autos, if your state allows it. The AWB did not regulate full-autos, but semiautomatics that had more than three of these features: a detachable magazine, a bayonet lug, a flash hider, a folding or retractable stock, and a conspicuous pistol grip. Additionally it banned new production of rifle and pistol magazines with more than a ten round capacity, and semiautomatic shotguns with more than a five round capacity.

  • I know a lot of people who need to see this. When was it made?

  • I don't actually know when it was made... I just recently found it, and also felt a lot of people needed to see this. So I posted it.
