How the hell is Flick of the Switch considered their worst album? Just because it didn't do well in sales? Hell, I consider it on of their best in the Brian years. Landslide is an absolute beast of a song!
What a find! I was at that concert in Indy on Thursday, November 3, 1983! And I remember them playing this song clearly. I never thought I'd ever hear it from that show again. I remember Brian Johnson's comment before the song "I need a smoke" which is heard here at the beginning, though until now I would not have remembered that he had made that remark right before launching into Landslide. I should point out that Simon Wright played drums at that show. Phil Rudd left after recording FOTS
I dont know why, But on aftershocks the quality of most of the bootlegs are reduced quality. I have the same versions as on aftershock that come with the complete concert pairings, and the quality is way better.
Dude Hello by the way, I LOVE ac/dc and have loved them for over 20 years, and Ive always said Flick.. was a GREAT, hard hitting, fast and fun (AND OVERLOOKED SADLY) album fron start to finish... Its better than its predecessor.. better than its successor
dude flick of the switch was considerd to be their worst album of all time, now its me ultime faorite album, but back in 83 people hated it, infact the tour ws cancelld after december cause it was soo bad
i dont know if uve noticed but the underated stuff kick ass, blow up your video wasnt as much of a success as back in black was, but BYOV is my fav album with brian johnson
Hell yeah! I don't even have the album, but I've heard Heatseeker and That's The Way I Wanna Rock And Roll. My favorite AC/DC lyric is from Heatseeker, "Get your head down and blow!"
Do you not understand how these coments work? You have to view all comments to get them in the correct order. And didn't I already say, "I was replying to a comment about Blow Up Your Video. I'm fully aware that Landslide was from FOTS. "?

I actually didn't know that acca dacca played this live in the 80s....nice find! FOTS is easily and by far their most underrated album.
dback139 3 years ago 5
yeah, it contains some of the best guitar riffs, such as rising power and badlands.
putamerdameu 3 years ago 2
IIRC, this is the only time they played it live.

phil doesnt play any of simons stuff... and only thunderstruck from chris slade... i heard he played who made who once....
TrimTOODLE 3 years ago 3
Yeah, and it's too bad because Phil would undoubtedly blow Simon away on his own songs.

fuckin true im a HUGE rudd fan .. im a drummer myself...
TrimTOODLE 3 years ago 3
Me too, I don't play drums, but I appreciate Phil's style.
Ballbreaker is my favorite album with Phil on it. The drum part for the first verse of HAAR is my favorite.
