  • Someone here said about a year ago that the music sound like Star Trek.....He's not far off...some of the music sounds like its from Star Trek III.

  • Does anyone know what thing is at 1:19 to 1:23?

  • It is sad to see, how animation-especially shattering stones at the beginning-is better and smoother, than in actual movie.

  • @kristallize The animation in this trailer maybe smoother, but I like what came out in the final movie better, especially for the music for Unicron. In here, it is very creepy and very scary. In the final movie, it is still creepy, but cool at the same time. Also, whatever that thing at 1:19 to 1:23 is supposed to be, I am glad that the animators did something else with it like turn it into some kind of energy divertor device in stead of having like a heart, perhaps.

  • so they admit to plagiarizing star wars

  • is it me or some of these scenes different from the US release?

  • @GriffithAMPS like mohawk sporting beardless unicron? or diaclone ultra magnus? yep.

  • Best promo ever.

  • It'll keep audiences coming back?! didn't one kid lock himself in his room for two weeks just because they killed Optimus!

Oh and the quote"Conceived in the epic tradition of star wars" made me lol

  • Well, this movie is still considered a classic although it has its ups and downs. And the death of Optimus Prime in this movie is one of those downs.

  • @transformersjones he locked himself in his room alright

  • Wow, I see they changed a fair bit of this, especially Ultra Magnus' appearance.

  • yea diaclone colors look ALOT beter dont they

  • What's with the Star Trek III music? Is it because of Leonard Nimoy lending his voice to one of the characters or something?

  • @charleskusiak12 Sounded more like Star Trek: The Motion Picture to me.

  • it's the japanese trailer in 1989.

  • No this was produced while the film was still in early production. You can tell by the fact that the Matrix was just a series of outlines, and the narrator states "In the summer of 1986...".

And at what point would this music have played in Star Trek III?

  • awesome never seen that b4!

  • Pretty cool

  • wow see that bfore to

  • Cool, never seen this before.
