Much respect to my fellow FC owners. But look at the styling on this FC. It's basically stock with tasteful mods. That's how FC's should look. They should follow the original body style. All I see are a bunch of riced out FC's in my area with mismatching colored "drift" body kits and knock-off wheels.
Sometimes i wonder why the hell i still have my FC despite all its complications and money sucking ways... until i watch this video again.. and again... and again... makes me fall in love with my car all over again. Thats all that matters to me.
yep, same here. although it burns through fuel faster then a race horse pissing....its the look/style. and just the general atmosphere of the car......thats why no matter what, i aint getting rid of mine :D
I wonder why I still have my vert also... and then I drive it and for get about the money that it has sucked away. Hell I am even planing a REW swap next winter :) its a pit but i still love her.
I really want to see this move... even if it has one of them crappy S4's in it ;) jk
@LRCRX7 so true you can run the hell out of a rotary motor but they need alot of upkeep my FC is sittin on the side of my house :/ waiting for the new t2 motor!
@MrSubielove well these cars need alot of maintenance and love, you need to ride em hard every once in a while, and the motors are prone to give out sooner than a piston engine would, especially if it has sat there for long a long time the coolant seals give out faster that way, but with a little bit of tlc they can go a long way and are fun as hell! i wouldn't trade my rx7 for any other car out there.
@bro213 i see i see thanks for the info, but i have a question about the rotary engine since you own one. my friend and i were talking about getting this kinda car and he mentioned about the engine requires oil all the time, he said you have to put oil constantly like an gasoline. what can you say about that?
@MrSubielove sorry for replying so late, and yes thats true. the reason for that is because the oil is injected into the engine as well as gas ect.... the engine then burns the oil inside the engine eventually which is why it is recommended to not baby your rx7 all the time and sometimes ride it hard so you burn off the build up caused from this.
@evoker818 Get one thats running haha. I bought mine not running, and I got it to run with a few new sensors, but it cost me about $150. Vacum leaks seem to be common, luckily mine was in good shape. Make sure your cooling system is in good shape. Mine wasn't I ended up spendin about $100 for new sensors and a thermostat. If you have emmissions testing in your area, your car has to be running perfect to pass. Great first car if you have money and are mechanically inclined. I have spent over $700

@dunecat85 It's a Mazda Finish Line [old Mazdaspeed basically] aero half bumper. :) That along with the other aero bits reduce the FC's drag to 0.29!

actually same here, ive got a S4 13BT last run on Dyno was 156kw at the wheels. so im a bit short of 280hp.....
oh well who cares, its a sexy car and i love her :D
