@henry2450 I respect this, but it's backwards. Floyd is known to have the greatest ring smarts of this era and Pac struggles against intelligent counter punchers (like Marquez). Manny is a tazmanian devil. Coming at you wildly from all angles and unleashes an incredible offensive assault, but he doesn't really "box smart." Mayweather adapts better than any opponent in recent memory and out thinks everyone.

I agree with you, though, about Manny's weakness againts counter puncher like Marquez.. I believe that Marquez knows how to fight Manny but Manny knows how to score more! @leadster88 lol its ALOT harder than it looks. Ive boxed and done mma. They're two difference sports you can't compare the two. Boxing emphasizes only one discipline where as mma is an amalgamation of all different forms of martial arts from around the world, including boxing. Its like trying to compare a chef who is only good at making italian food but amazing at it, to a chef who has to focus on learning many different types of foods so he can't spend all his time on one in particular.

Pacquiao got KO'ed when he was starting out at a flyweight, and he didn't even know the basic's of boxing. Morales I agree he got whooped but what happened after that, Pacquiao KO'ed him twice. Marquez just got beat twice with one draw. Pacquiao did enough to win the fight.

I think mma is more exciting because the fight can really be anything. a fight more centered on muay thai or bjj for ex. seeing two fighters with two completly opposite style fighting (striker vs bjj fighter). So no, not EVERYONE agrees, its personal taste. But like you, I have a lot of respect for any type of fighter :)
