If you are interested, there is a JU-87 STUKA dive bomber in Symi in Greece (a small island in the eastern Aegean Sea) in a depth of about 30-40 meters. I've been there many times and the canopy is still closed, and every time I dive past it I salute the pilot. There is also a Bristol Beaufighter in Milos, same depth but I haven't seen it yet. Nice pictures mate!!
Nice vid! You know u can also read amazing dive stories on the myscubastory site. Type myscubastory into google and click on the first seach result !
To each there own pal, just because you can't find it within yourself to be as passionate about WWII - or the Civil War, etc., doesn't mean others shouldn't be! For some people, passion is about living and re-living, and it is all just fine, regardless of whatever one finds to be passionate about. It's what makes us tick - otherwise no one would care enough to post these vids!
When are people going to quit rehashing WW II. Damm it was70 years ago and over. The Allied forces won, the Axis lost, end of story. I live in the southern US and get tired of people rehashing the Civil war. Yankee vs. Rebel. Leave it in the Museum where it belongs, don't make it a way of life, on something that happened before you where born.
@TownBranchDandy Yes my little genius... let everyone forget about it. Hell, after a few years of this, people will even doubt that it occured.. That's the surest way to see to it that it's all repeated a few generations from now...
Now don't forget my post here. Refer back to it in later life so that you avoid coming off like an ignorant fool in the future. LOL
this looks really impresive. I am researching the battles in the aegean during ww2. The footage you have here is perfect. How can i purchase this video?

Why is the Greek ship in the beginning refered to as a "stew-can"? Great footage.
RJLeffmann 4 years ago
Probably similar to how we call destroyers and frigates "tin cans".
