I have a black BB3000. This is my third, (all MIJ models). One '80's version was stolen about 20 years ago. My second 80's (with JayDee electronics, fitted by John Diggins himself) I swapped for a Warwick Streamer (No, I don't know why either !). My current is a totally mint 2002.
@infusion26 Yep. Apparently the brief the designers were given was to produce a bass to take on Fender etc. An accurate description would be 'a Precision on steroids'. ;-)
Incidentally, I think Dion Estus played on 'Call me Al', but I'm not sure whether he did all of Graceland.
I just went through all your videos and they are brilliant...you've got all what i like and you play it so brilliantly...i am bass player as well and play for a alternative-hard rock band(which i don't really like), i would really want to know how you get this really clean sound on your bass....i use an Ibanez sr400
