See this is what I was so pissed about with SCIV. I was so sure they were going to continue this kind of battle between Taki and Mitsurugi in the next game but in the next game, they acted as though nothing happened. It would've made a great battle to see them duke it out. *sigh*

Still, this is a timeless ending and Taki is one of the coolest ninjas around in the video game world (Suck on that Naruto lol).

Well, it started in the very first game. He wants Soul Edge to make him a better fighter (because he lost against a person using a gun). She wants to destroy Soul Edge because it's evil and makes whoever wields it crazy. Since Soul Edge hasn't been completely destroyed, they keep on running into each other and fighting over evil sword.

Sucks how SCIV revolves completely around Nightmare, Siegfried, and Algol now instead of Taki, Amy, Raphael, Tira, Setsuka, Mitsurugi, Xianghua, Lizardman, Sophitia, Cassandra, Astaroth, Maxi, Kilik, Ivy, Cervantes, Seong-Mina, or Yun-Seong.

The SC2 and SC3 intro's included all characters.

technicly speaking they also showed yoda hilde ivy and astaroth in the intro and not to mention seigfried algol and nightmare are the only ones in the game who have soul calibur and soul edge so they are really the only 1's to be fightning. lol just my opinion =D
