  • I find it creepy how much the room he's drumming in looks like the room I drum in...

  • You can tell hes a good drummer because he makes weird faces when he plays

  • @freedrumless Your gay. Earring in right you gayhole Jared! OH! Fucker

  • He's the best drummer of the world omg!

  • 1:32 - fail ? :P he's a great teacher n good drummer ;) thanks for your all lessons bro ;)

  • @1995kuza It's an Yamaha Hip Gig Al Foster kit.

  • can aony one guide me to some inexpencive mics and equipment for recording vids like this?

  • Great solo

  • in other vids he doesnt wear earings

  • cool kit

  • Quick question, why do you drum in your socks??

  • @TheWestBee I drum in my socks, mainly bc i cant play with shoes on, i feel that my shoes get in the way between me and the drums and disable me as a drummer. When i take off ,y shoes i can do a lot more with the pedal in terms of the swivel technique when doing double bass pedal patterns, which i use a lot because im a death metal drummer. I wear socks because drum pedals are made of metal, that shit can get cold when going barefoot x)

  • @TheWestBee Why don't you?

  • @RepulsorMan i did acually, i liked it alot! Thanks

  • @RepulsorMan thanks for the sugestion, i tried it, and i liked it alot! Thanks

  • this guy is.... legendary.

  • @alex801848 agree!

  • why do drummers like u never make mistakes and i do

  • @cod4lifecuzz

their cant be any mistakes in a solo, its a solo, something you make up on the spot

  • lol nice earrings

  • you no his snare is mounted on the bass drum

  • well, in the drum solo lesson he taught us to try "telling a story" - sorry jared, if this was a story, it would be kinda weird and boring at the same time ...

  • What's the name of the song in the begging?

  • @jabed112

dude really? this is your favorite drummer? are you kidding, check out adrian tramontano from the breakfast, blows him away duuuude, or tony royster jr. hes nuts, or jon fishman from phish, you crazy bastard!

  • Well the ride pattern at 0:35 is beast so i guess it does not matter!

  • I'm nowhere near As good as this guy but i think he needs to mAybe loosen up a bit and get his style... I think it's too uniform and regular but still , a good performance :)

  • i want a set like that

  • At least he's smiling

  • hey, what kind of double pedal you use??

  • I think an Iron Cobra or a Gibralter Direct Drive.

  • At least that's what he said he primarily uses =p.

  • TAMA, Iron Cobra

  • No other brand makes a pedal with the name Iron Cobra, we know it's Tama =p

  • @MrThekidbilly It's not a double pedal, he's doing that with one foot. It's called skill and technique.

  • @FromTheDeskOfJAW he never said he was using it , you can clearly see it in there , he just doesn't use it

  • @ilovepwd Yeah I know. I misread the question.

  • why do you even keep the double pedal, you dont need it lol. 5 stars

  • So he can go even faster? :P.

  • He uses heel-toe, which is good for playing 16th and 32nd doubles, but it's not practical to play straight 16ths or 32nds with one foot. You would tire out in maybe a minute. He's real versatile and plays every kind of music, including metal, so he needs it sometimes to play real heavy music.

  • You can only really play heel-toe straight 16th's/32nds slow. At fast speeds it's just good for doubles, and you might as well just use heel up for slow 16th's. So, thumbs up for you =p.

  • I could totally download this as an mp3 and listen to it all night long.

  • I love how people talk about this guy looking like Napoleon Dynamite when he's an amazing drummer who's clearly among the best today. Jealousy much?

  • he loves his ride pattern at 0:35

    great drummer

  • @EtherealRealm

    7/8, isn't it?

  • That's crazy. I've been playing for half a year, and that was aboslutely nuts. That almost compares to Toad by Cream/ Ginger Baker.
