Toskala did not play like crap, he made some amazing saves that game to keep the leafs into the game for the win. The shootout saves, breakaway saves. He was a bit shakey but the leafs D was not all that impressive last night.....like the 4th goal, they just watched franzen walk right buy.

It may have been part of Wilson's strategy to go to the press with word that Toskala would start in goal when the season began.

That would take all the pressure off Gustavsson and he'd play like he had nothing to lose. As opposed to announcing him as starter and making him feel like the world is on his shoulders.
