I don't just like this, I love it very much. He just worked his own brand of magic, Mr. Williams did, with the Harry Potter music, wish he could have done all the films. He even has a wand, ( baton):-) Love his work, he is just incredible.
Hans Zimmer, for example, is a fine composer given he has a library of synth sounds and pre-recorded mumbo jumbo to set moods with. Williams only needs an orchestra. I've always respected him for that.
John Williams is the most talented film composer the world has ever seen. This score IS Harry Potter. And it will forever be ingrained in our memory. So good!
@SondheimFanatic1 Its too bad John Williams left the series after Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I would so have loved to hear what he would have done with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
The magic of Harry Potter, comes from the unity it gives everyone and the togetherness. The legacy of Harry Potter will live on, i can imagine like tell my child about it
Harry didn't get his broomstick from Diagon Alley....first years are not usually permitted to have their own brooms. He was given his first broomstick (the Nimbus 2000) by Professer McGonagall, after she recognized his potential as a seeker.
Recently watched Home Alone on HBO. The Harry Potter theme is eriely simmler to the Home Alone theme! I found it funny that I forgot about Home Alone and became a HP enthusiast!
@mastermusic99 Harry Potter will never end!! Reread the books, watch the movies again, pass it onto your children! It will only end if you let it end.
@tankemall Surprisingly not all that much! I was shocked at how easy it was to play, but then it occurred to me that even though it's massive it still is conical.
For me, Williams is like the modern day Max Steiner/ Tchaikovsky/ Korngold combined and his Harry Potter soundtracks (especially and obviously Sorcerer's Stone) have a very Tchaikovsky/ Nutcracker sound to it which is why I love it so much.
@henrique88t seriously? i would be suprised if you're right....... but if you are the by all means we should rip that off and put it on youtube, and maybe a downloadable version..
@HardyRStudios I saw the last harry Potter movie yesterday...I saw the full credits and I so hoped that they named him as the "original" and best composer...they named him as "original music and themes"...althhough great! ;)

@dickclarkfan1 Actually, John Williams left after Prisoner Of Azkaban. He composed the music for the first 3 Harry Potter films.
