  • What she means by "you cant spot reduce you can only spot sculpt" is that you can't just target one area to lose weight in such as your abs or thighs etc. But you can sculpt or tone certain desired areas hope that helped for those who were asking.... I love your videos keep them up

  • Hey look, its Manhattan Beach! My grandparents live on 1200 the Strand & 12th St. Haha small world! When you do cardio, whats a good amount of calories to burn? (Ex. For a 2 mile run on a treadmill I usually end up with 350-400 calories burned) Should that be higher for a good cardio workout?

    I always watch your vids, and been dieting now for about 4 months, but just can't lose any weight, and I mean i'm eating at most 500 calories a day now!

    I'm 20, but was extremely skinny back at 18, I would have only eaten a piece of fruit a day then! My body just clings to anything i eat now! I'm vegetarian but, what exercises and food should I be looking at to get back to an average weight? Thanks!

  • That's the problem- to lose weight you need to eat, otherwise your body will go into a storing fat mode, or endurance mode. that's why starving doesn't work! You need to eat a very healthy diet. :)

  • I would encourage you to try the abs diet by david zinczenko. I've been following it loosely for 2 weeks now, and it's working really well. it focuses on feeding your body with healthy foods so that you gain muscle and shed fat. he also has muscle building exercises, but i just follow the 30-day shred for now. I do it every morning while my daughters eat breakfast. working like a charm. you can get a good idea of what it entails by just googling it. healthy and happiness!

  • Thank you! I workout about 5 days a week. At least 1 hour of cardio daily (run, bike, and/or swim), weight train 3 days/wk, and yoga two days/wk. My diet is also very clean, but I admit I have my cheat days!!!

    how long would you have to go on a bike ride since around my house its mostly flat/down hill and not that hard?

  • A 30-60 minute ride is a great start!! You can work up to longer as your endurance increases.
