@tomkasto I think if you played the older games first you're more likely to enjoy playing FNV more than FO3. I went from playing 3 first to F1 and I liked them both but I didn't like NV. FO3 is a bit different, especially the mutants are completely different and the BOS actually help people.

The voice acting wouldn't exactly be easy as most gamers of Fallout and such don't have that great of voices. Although I'd love to help someone out with the voice acting part, the rest would just take a lot of coding and such. It'd be much easier for a company to do it. Another thing, I've always wondered what the intelligent death claws would sound like.

I wish Fallout 3 was actually Van Buren I wanted to play it :( But I love Fallout 3 and NV and bethesda but the old Fallouts were really great :) except brotherhood of steel which was epic fail.
Van Buren is being recreated through New Vegas. The original locations for VB were the Hoover Damn, New Canaan, Denver, the Grand Canyon, among others. Along with that, several factions planned for VB were instated in NV such as Caesar's Legion, the Powder Gangers, and the new Followers of the Apocalypse.
NV should have been the real Fallout 3, given that the actual one strays so far from the plot lines and setting that had already been laid out. Also the game takes liberties with some Fallout canon, and the game itself is ridiculously easy.
NV, on the other hand goes back to the West, reintroduces characters and plot points from Fallout 2 (as a proper sequel should), and goes on to tackle plot lines that were meant to be set up in Van Buren.
Speaking of the rest of the world, check out the meeting room beside President Richardson's office. There's a map of the world, with lit up, red dots signifying centers of population that survived the war. I don't have a save file offhand that I can look at to list out the areas marked on the map, but I remember there were a lot Western Europe including a few in Britain, France, and Germany, a few in South America and Africa, and three in Australia, with none in Russia and China.
It would appear then, that the Enclave, for better or worse, succeeded in preserving humanity in America, as China appeared to have been wiped off the map. Curiously, Tokyo seems to have survived, as I remember seeing it lit up on the map.
They probably built giant robots around the same time America developed Liberty Prime and the T-51's.
Never heard of Fallout extreme. Visiting China would've been badass though.
The blips on Richardson's map, I think, only indicated larger centers of population, so the Chinese survivors probably were spread out across the countryside (given that China today is largely agrarian), as the major cities were nuked, never to be resettled.
Fallout 2 and NV are probably my favorites out of the series. Fallout 1 is the best way to get introduced into the series, and the main quest is wonderful, but after 2 or 3 play-throughs, it gets boring because there really isn't enough content.
Fallout 2 is, in my opinion, the pinnacle of the series. It has great amounts of content, including quests, weapons, and character, it's hard as hell when you get to the oil rig, and you can play through it a lot.
@dhshrh I agree, but I actually got more love for FO3 and NV from learning more about FO1 and 2, they both have there advantages in game play and etc, but there all apart of a great series.

It would appear then, that the Enclave, for better or worse, succeeded in preserving humanity in America, as China appeared to have been wiped off the map. Curiously, Tokyo seems to have survived, as I remember seeing it lit up on the map.
They probably built giant robots around the same time America developed Liberty Prime and the T-51's.

Never heard of Fallout extreme. Visiting China would've been badass though.
The blips on Richardson's map, I think, only indicated larger centers of population, so the Chinese survivors probably were spread out across the countryside (given that China today is largely agrarian), as the major cities were nuked, never to be resettled.

Fallout 2 and NV are probably my favorites out of the series. Fallout 1 is the best way to get introduced into the series, and the main quest is wonderful, but after 2 or 3 play-throughs, it gets boring because there really isn't enough content.
Fallout 2 is, in my opinion, the pinnacle of the series. It has great amounts of content, including quests, weapons, and character, it's hard as hell when you get to the oil rig, and you can play through it a lot.

@dhshrh I agree, but I actually got more love for FO3 and NV from learning more about FO1 and 2, they both have there advantages in game play and etc, but there all apart of a great series.
