  • no it's the guy who has priorty that gets the win.

  • u did 1 missplay...if u chain honest to honest the 1 who chains 1st kills the other one...

  • lol

  • In background, it is the end of one of my favourite movie, "demolition man" with Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipe. I watch it so many times that I recognize it very quickly.

Nice duel guys, but you have to learn damage step subdivisions.

    bye!

  • final thing I learned:

read the whole page before you stick your foot in your mouth

  • and I googled the rulings of the card Honest, here is a phrase you guys might be interested in:

The ATK increase is equal to the ATK of the opponent's monster when Honest's effect resolves.

so here is how it works

Duel Channel attacks, chooses not to activate an effect, and passes priority on to Poker

Poker activates his Honest as Chain Link 1

Duelchannel activates his Honest as Chain Link 2

No further cards are played so Duelchannels resolves first

    Arkus is 2400

    then Poker's resovles

    Arkus 3600

  • Honest is a little more complicated.

Honest can be dropped at any moment of Damage Step, so that's the start of the DS (SS1) Flipping of a set monster (SS2)Before Damage Calc(SS3)During Damage Calc(SS4)

You have basically 4 chances to play honest, and it's usually a given to play Honest during damage calc, what happened he was that he played Honest during SS3. That honest was resolved, so that chain ended. Then in SS4 the other guy dropped honest starting a new chain.

  • I learned 2 things today:

    1. you dont need to have good decks to feel like your videos are worth airing on youtube, they just needed to be a barrage of the shiny tourny cards

    2. just because I enjoy playing the game, doesnt mean I would enjoy watching it. The TV show makes this seem a lot more exciting

Final thought: Dead air... um... dead air

and whoever gets that earns an internet savvy point

  • haha true

  • TT in lightsworn ???

  • u guys are fricken terrible ik a buncha ppl alredy said this but when a player drops honest thats it... unless u negate it, the player that drops honest first always wins..always

  • not true if the first player drops honest and second player declares his drops in sub step 4 where attack change occurs the sencond drop wins. learn ur yugimonz

  • Hye does any1 have a charge of the light brigade? i really need one. If u want to trade, PMme plz. I iwll not send first tho cuz i was scammed 3 times.

  • LOL you heavy storm'd his heavy storm. ftw

  • koa'ki meiru beats both th to koa'ki meiru Drago negates the effects of light & dark monster ^^ FTW Im making one and there coming out with more too ^^ Boo yah FTW!

  • Zarkophy is right lightsworms are a better deck to run :) too bad they are expensive to build doe :(

  • at 2:23 i wal like XD

  • damn dude u owend him that game next time tell poz to ask u turn player priority and he would have won that honest exchange

  • when arkus attacked arkus pozjokers would have stayed seeing as how you passed your turn player priority and yours would resolve first resulting as in him gaining ur gain.

  • did dule channel duel channel duel poz

  • first he can wait till sub step 4 to play Honest and pozjoker never declared which step he was going to activate it, so we are going to have to assume he played it in a earlier step.

  • sub steps dont matter at this point he passed his turn player priority

  • See it does. Pozjoker could have played it in 1-2-3-4 And if you play it in 4 It wins over the other honest. They are fun dueling also, so i think pozjoker would know hes taking priority.

  • actually the sub step of 4 doesnt matter, he didnt chain honest FIRST, poz did then ray chained sub steps doesnt matter at all its about the chain link rays was last so his would activate first and then poz would gain rays gain also.

  • actually it DOES any SUBSTEPS is when you play your honest. Pozjoker could have played it in 1 and Ray could have chained it in 4 and Rays would have won.

  • your wrong ray didnt chain first meaning his passed his priority of chaining anything to the damage calculation having to do nothing with substeps and letting ray chain seeing as how he chained last he would resolve first.

  • i say that LS is more consistent then twilight, cuz u can do more combos wit lightsworn, but LS is more expensive which is a down side

  • LS plays insted enough said.

  • you guys shuffled the decks a lot.

  • i truthfully twilight decks are better than lightsworns only becuase if u use lightsworns as the light monsters ur setting urself up for a deck out or to fuck up a combo

    BTW

I'm sorry to say this but people need to get over lightsworns because it is to predictable

so its never fun for the guy who is playing lightsworns and the guy vs the lightsworns

  • Truth to twilight, it is actually less consistant than pure lightsworn itself. Althought it has its strengths over normal lightsworn, for more better chance of consistancy, you'de be better off with running traditional lightsworn.

  • Twilight gets beat more than Lightsworns do. At the jump championship, no twilight deck made it in the top 4. They all mostly got beat and Lightsworn made it at 2nd place. So I honestly would have to say LS is better.

  • that jump was a flop. twilight is better.

  • lol. Honest mistake.

The Lightsworn player's Honest was chained to the 1st one, so it was activated first because chains resolve backwards. So, the 1st one has priority.

  • Comment removed

  • Wrong: The ruling for cards like honest are the following: turn player can retain priority. This means in this situation, when the guy on the left played his honest, and then they guy on the right played the honest, since it was the guy on the rights turn, he can choose which honest actives considering he is the turn player. Basicly, in a nutshell, the turn player chooses what happens first in this situation.

  • Nice duel lolz like the commentary and what was the noise in the background lolz?

  • At 3:15 how did that work? Pozjoker activated his Honest first, so wouldn't his Aurkus stay alive instead of DuelChannel's?

  • no becuase DuelChannel had turn Priority so His Arkus gains 1200 from Origanal att plus another 1200 becuase of Pozjokers Honest.......... Pozjokers Arkus= 2400att Duel Channels Arkus=3600att

  • i think it was that poz activated it on the attack declaratioon, and ray activated it it at the end of the damage step after poz's had already resolved

  • Priority had nothing to do with it.

  • well why would he drop it like 15 sec before if Ray would of call priority is it the sub step thingy like gangster8101 seems to say

  • There are substeps in the damage step. Since Poz didn't specify which step Rey just let the original Honest resolve. Then during the next substep activated his own Honest.

  • Hand\Deck Shuffling. Srs Business :P

    Nah good duel guys. :)

    "Haha daddddy..."

  • You guys spent 40 seconds shuffling lol

  • cool

  • Was that Star Wars Episode III playing in the background?

  • i like lightsworn over twilight

  • Nice Duel! Guys

  • NICE DUEL
