that's sugar blue..he played on the rolling stones album, "some girls" apparently the guy is so gifted he can take a regular C harp and play, suck, bend it to fit into any key!! damn.
Hey Andy! You're an amazing guitarist, a slayer of unsuspecting audiences! Bravo yourself! ;D
You're right about Sugar, he has taken the harp to quantum levels unmatched. Hardest worker I ever met, practices more than anyone I've ever seen, eats his harps for breakfast. His lips would constantly bleed.
This vid was recorded just months before Sugar recorded "Miss You" with the Stones, their biggest seller ever. Sugar won a grammy for his solo performance at Montreux shortly after that.
wow, thanx for the kind words paul, i can only dream about montreux, who knows...thanx for subscribing to the vids, I checked yours out too, i need to go practice now...
Thank you, everybody, for your kind comments, & thank you so much, Gerry, for creating & preserving this historic gem.

Who is on bass and drums ?
I was at most Sugar Blue and Paul Cooper concert in 1978 and they were both in France, so this must be 1977 ?

blueguitar69 said this "That's Dean Haas on drums, and it looks like Nick Holt, Magic Slim's brother, on bass."I'm not sure about Nick Holt"

@BigM: Correct. I went to Elsewhere II before leaving for LA, '77. I returned winter '79; it was gone.
