Although SHINee did make a better version of the song, it still sounds like the same as of Corbin Bleu's version, the difference is the language, and possibly the words to. But since it's still talking about a girl, it still sounds the same to me.

To me, if your going to copy a song, you might as well add something to it; not just the words, but the song itself. This way, you're not completely copying the whole song, instead it's an adjustment that makes the difference between the two songs.

Well, it's called a remake or a cover for a reason. Even though both songs are about a girl, the lyrics from Corbin's version sound on the verge of complaining, while SHINee's lyrics are pleading for acceptance and complimentary. Also, the songs do differ somewhat. SHINee's version has a little rap from Minho that was non-existant in Corbin's version. Also, SHINee added their famous harmony somewhat ad-libs to the song, for instance the most outstanding one from 2:20-2:30 in this video.

Well, SHINee's remix did have other differences too, when listening closely. And I heard that long tone in 2:20-2:30, that's difficult to do, almost like to be singing in opera, but it's still great. lol

So yeah, I guess if SHINee decided to make a remix of Corbin Bleu's song, well, they did a pretty great job on that.
