  • I made this. It is DELICIOUS! :)

  • I'd make this but I'd sauté the mushrooms in a bit of olive oil and garlic first...

  • @mo42086 if you cut them thin enough, you really don't newed to. They're great rawa nd warmed through, promise :)

  • If you have time, try to find parma ham. I mean a good quality one, they may be slightly expensive, but they give awesome flavors to any Italian dish. Because of their concentrated and peppery flavor, they make a good contrast against the mild flavors of most Italian dishes. You can opt to add either sweet basil or normal. Good parsley or Italian Parsley also give consistency, depth and really good aroma. Cheers and happy cooking folks! XD

  • I'm gonna have to try this, but adding chopped strips of bacon that are oven roasted and frying 2 minced cloves of garlic in olive oil to make it a little milder and then add the garlic olive oil to the sauce. It may take longer to make, but since I love cooking, I don't mind the extra wait.

  • lovely and easy

  • This is one of my favourite meals, it's really easy to make and beautiful to eat. I just add a dash of white wine to the mushrooms and then have a glass while I'm eating... perfect!

  • raw mushrooms?

  • Gosh I love her pale skin, very elegant with her dark hair. Very nice to see someone these days who isn't bright orange with a fake tan or a deep leathery brown from too much sun. Makes me feel more comfortable with my light complexion.

  • Even the most conservative minds loved it!!! It's delicious!!!

  • You know right that uncooked mushrums are dangerous?

And no one in Italy eat in this way......

  • @TheQuickgold These are cultivated mushrooms, so they're fine to eat raw. They might need to be wiped down to remove grit, but that's about it.

  • You know right that uncooked mushrums are dangerous?

  • i made this recently and its absolutely delicious!

  • A little modification:

Put oliv oil and peace of butter to hot pan. Put to sliced mushrooms. Wait some minutes and put to pan sliced garlic. If mushrooms are soft, put to the pan diced parsiey and boiled pasta, mix and serve.

  • @mr4wheels What was the last thing she added?, What kind of cheese was that I didn't understand exactly what she said. Trying it your way.

  • i love that guttural sound she makes just as she's about to devour her food. sexy as hell.

  • I dont know why, but when I see other chefs on tv i always think "hmm... this looks good" but i never get myself to make them. On the other hands I've tried LOADS of nigella's recipies (this one included). And they really are minimum effort, maximum taste.

    I'm a total Nigella fan!

  • I love how she goes om nom nom at the end of the vid XD

  • everything she cooks looks easy and tasty!!!!!

  • the mushrooms are raw till the end aren't they? isnt that a little risky?

  • risky how??... i dont get it...

  • no?

  • Comment removed

  • @aishwaryarulz27no it's not risky - you can have raw mushrooms in a salad, and lots of people do! Some people seem to have a deep rooted fear of mushrooms for some reason, but there's nothing to worry about (except if they're bad, in which case ANY food is risky)

  • you can see she cooked them. and its not risky. i mean you can eat raw carrots

  • perfect tick for vegan, but i prefer get rid of garlic:)

  • Mmmm comfort food. Thanks fionasuper2 for taking the time to post this up. =)
