In Germany the same thing is happening, a team that just promoted is number one (Hoffenheim), these things happen. The European clubs still thinks that there is a good league in Holland and buy in players they think is going to work. It was different before, Zlatan for example. And btw, the league champions in Sweden would easily finnish in the middle in Holland.

Yes the champions would probably finish in the middle, but that's not very special. Huntelaar doesn't want to leave, those were false rumors confirmed by himself. He's going through a tough phase right now, you'll see he'll prove himself soon. I agree that there are less stand-out players in the eredivisie right now than before maybe but it's still a good and fun league and I'm sure AZ will do great next season in europe.
