  • Beautiful! Wish I had the scratch for the AxeFx but my Vetta II is doing me well. This is the first video I've watched of yours and as soon as I hit enter I'm looking for more! Again... GREAT job. Did you work out the lines or are you improvising?

  • @joshvcrawford

    I appreciate the cool comment!

It's 80% improvisation, I jammed to it several times and a couple of things started to "stick" to it so I kept those parts and just let the rest happen.

    Thanks for noticing the shirt!

    :)

  • @bluenose1875

No, it's a preset that I created using the FAS amp, Recto2 Cabs(2), compressor, gate/expander, stereo chorus, Reverb and Delay. I also adjusted settings for the FAS under the Advance Tab. Unfortunately I've never hooked my AXE to a PC, NEVER UPDATED THE FIRMWARE (7.04) so I haven't been able to share my patches with anyone. If you want I can give you a detailed list of settings.

  • @Shredilicous If you could that would be fantastic

  • are you using a factory preset on this ?

  • Can you tell me what backing track that is please, is it pink floyd ?

  • @bluenose1875

    No it's a Gilmour style track, I believe it's from BluesJam tracks.com

  • Love it !. Would love to pick up an axe fx but the budget does'nt call for it. Brilliant playing there mate.

  • @tonealicious

  • What type of wah sounds are in the Axe Fx? I'm planning on getting an Ultra in the not-too-distant future and I was thinking I might want to hold on to my Cry Baby from Hell to use with it. Before I learned about the Axe Fx I was planning on getting a rack mounted Cry Baby, so that tells you I'm pretty serious about the type of wah sound I desire, lol.

    This sounds awesome btw :-)

  • glitched,

I was also looking at the DCR-2SR Crybaby rack but I figured I'd give the wah in the AxeFx a try. It has more adjustments as the Crybaby, range of sweep, Q control, bandpass, min frequency, max frequency, tracking.

I copied the settings of a Fulltone Clyde you can really get a lot out of it especially when you use the Mission Engineering SP1-R exression pedal, I'm sure you'll stop thinking about the Crybaby plus it's one less piece of gear to purchase & lug around.

  • Thanks man, hope you don't mind if your one of the people I come to for tips on the Axe-Fx when I finally get one? ;-) Is it a pain setting some of the things up like controllers, etc.?

  • No problem bud, I'll help in anyway I can.

Take care and burn up that fretboard!

  • Aweome.....Sold Me

  • You should be famous

  • Great!!! I've enjoyed in every second of your solo!

  • Keep it coming!!!! Nice!

  • Total guitar mindf#ck. Thanks for the upload!
