Beautiful! Wish I had the scratch for the AxeFx but my Vetta II is doing me well. This is the first video I've watched of yours and as soon as I hit enter I'm looking for more! Again... GREAT job. Did you work out the lines or are you improvising?
It's 80% improvisation, I jammed to it several times and a couple of things started to "stick" to it so I kept those parts and just let the rest happen.
Fabulous all around! Any recommendations for a live setup for the axe fx? I'd love to be able to get that sound at gig and practice volumes, and would appreciate any insight you've got with respect to what works best.
No, it's a preset that I created using the FAS amp, Recto2 Cabs(2), compressor, gate/expander, stereo chorus, Reverb and Delay. I also adjusted settings for the FAS under the Advance Tab. Unfortunately I've never hooked my AXE to a PC, NEVER UPDATED THE FIRMWARE (7.04) so I haven't been able to share my patches with anyone. If you want I can give you a detailed list of settings.

It's a 2009 John Suhr Standard, with Suhr Aldrich Pickups, Gotoh Tremolo, 5 way switch, 22 frets, basswood body w/ 3/16" flame maple top, even C slim neck .800-.880 radius & Stainless steel frets $3000
What type of wah sounds are in the Axe Fx? I'm planning on getting an Ultra in the not-too-distant future and I was thinking I might want to hold on to my Cry Baby from Hell to use with it. Before I learned about the Axe Fx I was planning on getting a rack mounted Cry Baby, so that tells you I'm pretty serious about the type of wah sound I desire, lol.
I was also looking at the DCR-2SR Crybaby rack but I figured I'd give the wah in the AxeFx a try. It has more adjustments as the Crybaby, range of sweep, Q control, bandpass, min frequency, max frequency, tracking.
I copied the settings of a Fulltone Clyde you can really get a lot out of it especially when you use the Mission Engineering SP1-R exression pedal, I'm sure you'll stop thinking about the Crybaby plus it's one less piece of gear to purchase & lug around.
Thanks man, hope you don't mind if your one of the people I come to for tips on the Axe-Fx when I finally get one? ;-) Is it a pain setting some of the things up like controllers, etc.?
