I think the reason why Canibus doesn't have a lot of success is because he really doesn't have a different flow between a majority of his songs. That and you can't feel any emotion from his rhymes; it is like he is just reading them off a piece of paper without putting anything but grit behind it. It makes what he is spitting feel like less substantial.
