Roadblocks To Healing #1 - Jesus Could Not Heal Because Of Unbelief

I never heard this argument about how Jesus could`nt heal cause of disbelief, but I learned something new. You are right brother, Jesus can heal but he did`nt heal cause of their unbelief. It was not because he could`nt, it was because the people did not believe. For without faith it is impossible to please Him, he that comes after God must BELIEVE that He is and a rewarder to them that diligently, seek him.

@bowiehs That is a great verse! That is exactly what happened. They did not believe in Jesus and thus did not come to Him. He could have healed them all, but many were in such unbelief they refused to come to Him. It is my prayer that people would believe on Him and run to Him! He will save, heal, and deliver anyone that will come to Him in simple, child-like faith!

@BrotherRyanHicks You are right, we must come as we are, he would heal all manner of sickness and diseases. Unbelief is running rapid in this world, but that that believe,have eternal life. that they believe cans peak to mountains to move, that they believe can walk by faith. @UToobUsername01 Yes, you have got the plain Scriptural truth. It is the faith of the man of God that matters, not the faith of the sick person. If the sick person is trying to get healing for themselves, then in that case their faith is of utmost importance. When it is a sick person getting prayed for by a man of God then it is the man of God's faith that is important. Hi I'm a youtube subscriber and I am happy to have been given a friend invite by this guy. I am currently getting this problem in my stomach that has been with me for a couple of years. I feel weak and bloated.How does the healing work? Do you have to touch the person on the area of the body that is ill? I would like to meet up with other christians like him who can heal. i think the faith of the person healing is what matters, not the ill person's belief. the apostles could sometimes fail...

Yes, Amen. I was agreeing with you. I was showing you a scripture in the bible that what you are speaking actually happened. Jesus healed. Look how many times the demon possessed people knew Jesus and allowed HIM to heal them. This is who un-believers are. Thank you Jesus

The bible says There was a young boy who was demon possessed and his father brought him to Jesus.And when Jesus healed the boy HE asked the father of the boy and said do you believe and the father said yes, please take away my unbelief.

@LemireCassie Yes, but the man's belief or unbelief had no bearing on Jesus' ability to heal. The man questioned Jesus' ability, and Jesus helped him understand more:

Mark 9:22-23

22 ... but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Jesus still rebuked the unclean spirit even though the father was in unbelief. Another man's unbelief does not overcome our belief. [continued...]

It does not matter if the person being prayed for believes or not, our faith is not undone by the unbelief of others. It is only men trying to cast the blame on the sick that say that Jesus could not heal because of unbelief. "For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar..." (Romans 3:3-4). God bless.

A man may have doubt but still comes to Christ for healing in hopes that it is true. But if a man says "Prove"it because we know you or "If thou be the Son of God" or anything that can be considered as a Performace, God will not respond to that. God does respond for those just coming to Him in hope. When they said, he saved other's let him save himself, these are temptings of the devil for signs by performance proof. Jesus will not be tempted to prove anything of God.

@afaithfulone4you I am not sure what that has to do with the video. The video was rebuking this nonsensical idea that Jesus could not heal if people were in unbelief. It is also not about trying to get God to respond, HE IS NOT THE PROBLEM! Man is the problem. God already freely gave us His power. I will quote this verse I quoted earlier: "For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid..." (Romans 3:3-4). God bless you!

@BrotherRyanHicks What I was saying is that Jesus could not heal because they were not believing in him to, they were in total unbelief even mocking him and God will not perform to make someone believe to prove who He is. If there is some in a crowd that just have a hope but have never heard of such a thing, that is quite different than ones who mock or dare God to heal. Those in his hometown were looking at him as a man in mockery, and were not putting any faith in God doing the work. Bless you

@afaithfulone4you He could not heal people who were not there. He had compassion on the sick and was not going to leave them sick just because some doubted. Unbelief caused them to not bring the sick to Him. Jesus was not refusing to heal anyone. Their unbelief kept them from doing what others did like in Mark 6:56 when they "laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole." Amen brother. This mainly comes from unbelievers who are looking for an excuse not to do what Jesus said. Its funny how we understanding all teachings on receiving but we get confused on everything that has to do with giving. We are to give into the kingdom of God, and give of our time, and give of our resources, and give ourselves wholly unto the things of God. Live the life and stay strong bro.

They can walk past a thousand sick people without a concern in their hearts for them, but we have been freely given the Lord's power to bless others with, not to shut up for ourselves.
