Nice Job on Wood Man. You can actually take out Wood Man before he reaches you. Just make sure to get at least 7 hits in on him per shield and you won't have to dodge him. Getting closer to him seems to help me score hits a little better. Also, fun fact, if you pause and unpause when Wood Man jumps he will keep jumping in midair, furthermore you can actually shoot THROUGH Wood Man's Shield if you get close enough. I don't like to do that myself though.

@mopbrothers i dont think its even possible to beat all doc robot bosses with only the buster.. for example doc flash man and wood man is imposible to dodge unless u use Rush (wich Roahm wouldnt use for a perfect run), i have tried severel times, but its just imposible, they are WAY TOO BIG to jump over,, quick man doc robo i think can be posible tho, since he jumps alot, but still almost imposible since hes twice harder than regular quick man with just blaster xD

I'm looking at the sprite flicker and wow, I remember my bad experiences with that in the first 3 games (not done with 4 yet :P). MM9's dev team had a clever idea with "legacy mode", except the Wii simply has too much RAM for sprite flicker to work. I have NEVER seen MM9's sprites flicker once, even after ~10-12 total hours of Legacy Mode

I gave a four due to some of the annoyances with the last Hot Dog's placement, the occasional bit of trouble with Pipis, and Wood Man himself CAN be fairly tricky if you don't have the timing exact to get past him during the "epic dodge maneauver." Keep in mind, I'm ranking how hard I found it to get through the entire stage with no damage and only using the buster. Breaking those rules, yeah, he's pathetic.

I just realized something; you had those fireball-throwing Firepots in Quickman's level, the flame-breathing dogs here in Woodman's stage of all places (odd placement for a RM weak to fire), but none of these fire-based enemies appear in Heatman's level, where you'd expect them to show up.

While fighting the 3rd Hot Dog, you can just stand near the entrance on the 1st raised part of the ground and jump to shoot him without any risks.
