I'm not trying to start an argument but can anyone tell me why the slang for a BMW car is spelled different (but to my knowledge) pronounced the same as the slang for a BMW motorcycle?

aFe intakes have been proven to lose horse power, they should call them Hot air intakes not cold air intakes since they soak heat from the engine. Read any reputable bimmer community forum and you'll find out all you need to know about this fail of a product.

FYI to those running steptronics. You wont notice much of a perfromance boost with the intake unless you're running in DS mode.

Steptronic=Automatic. D is regular mode, DS is steptronic. And if you had even half a brain cell you wouldn't make a turbo comment because 328i is NATURALY aspirated and a turbo spooling sounds nothing like an intake.

I got a 07 E90 328i with the following setup; xeons 6000k hid, Beyern black mesh 18in rims (dont do 19s on NJ roads); h&r touring cup suspension kit, afe stage 2 cai, a bmw pefromance exhaust, and of course 20% tint. Going to hold on to this thing till 2012. BY then most of my mortgage will be paid off and I'll finally get my favorite beast, the M3 coupe. How about you what your driving?

Ok I got the intake and will install it next Friday into my 2007 e90 sedan. Then im getting a pair of Projector90s installed to repalce the regular Halogen lights. After that I will be putting on the exaust and some rims.

I'm getting the AFE stage 2 next week for my 328i sedan. How hard was it to install and does it void the warranty?

install takes about 1-2 hours and is pretty straightforward, the directions included are good enough. The intake should not affect your warranty. I have not heard of any cases where it has and my dealership always compliments me on mine.

well with a cold air intake, air scoops, exhaust, headers, and if your driving a manual transmission then a CDV delete and youll be much faster and louder.
