I would really like to know what kept people from bidding on him. He old for over 300 grand as a two year old. Were there not that many people in there, some kind of flaw. There must have been something wrong somewhere on him, because he looks very correct and well put together with top pedigree. He also has very similar lines as Papa Clem. Both out of belong to me mares.
Dog, Zenyatta, he didnt sell he went back to his owners because he didnt meet the asking price I kept reading on bloodhorse that he had long cannons and I was like he doesnt now, but he did then he finally sold for 400k+ at the April OBS the next year
@doggiesarus - Zenyatta was $60,000 (2005) A Real Bargain, if you ask me "for nothing" - a lot of so called good judges of horse flesh at the sale most have seen nothing in her!! Shes a freak like all Great horses Race or show jumpers, you can't set out to bred one, its only luck. Look at her page on All Breed Pedigree Q. Where did she get her 17.2 hh from? Gio Ponti $90,000 was very cheap too
Street Cry was an extraordinarily large horse, so was his bet colt Street Sense. Her dam Virtigineaux is an outstanding broodmare in her own right, excluding Zenyatta. Its not a miracle that a very well bred horse, will do well. Because she is that, a flawlessly bred horse.
The auctioneer was telling them to buy him!
