@acediAgula I thought that Medusa was transformed into a monster so she lived forever, but her sisters were still mortal and died. What was she transformed for, doing Posiedon in Athena's temple? LOL.

Athena was just jealous of the beautiful Medusa, because of Poseidon, so she transformed her in to a monster (snake-hair etc.) After that, she looked like her gorgon sisters and to protect her from enemies, her look would turn the poeple in stone. I know there are diffrent storys but doesn't Perseus beheaded her?
