Progress comes from the Progressives in the Democratic Party and the Conservatives in the Democratic Party have to be the first to approve, then the Progressive Ideas are pitched to the Liberals in the Republican Party and then finally the Classical Liberals of the Republican Party basically the (Libertarians) have to approve off on the ideas. Then you get progress. Nothing ever gets passed in the USA without the Republicans approving the ideas from signing the Declaration to the US Constitution

Uh, the only problem with your theory is that when the Decalaration and the constitution were written, ther wer no Democrats, or Republicans, or Progressives, or Liberals, or Libertarians.

In fact, with the exception of Democrats and Republicans(which came about in the 1800), none of those other categories existed until the 1920's.
