I see your using the Carvin TS-100 & Engl E-530, I was actually looking at using both of these for my live rig, what are your opinions on both the carvin and the engl?

@robarge00 First of all, the Engl is amazing. You can get easily awesome sounds, also without a poweramp, cause it is very very loud. The Carvin is ok, but if you play metal i recommend you to use another poweramp, for example a Marshall 20/20 or a Rocktron (i had very good results with it). If you want to spent a bit more money, check out some Engl poweramps or used Mesa Boogies.

@Kabior95 OOOK. xD Now I understand. So, I use Adobe Audition and I connect my Tascam via USB to the computer. The Mics are connected to the interface with a XLR cable.

@Kabior95 There is a little switch called "Mono Off/on". You have to switch it to the on position to hear a sound on both speaker sides. But you will only get a real stereo sound using two mics.

If you mean the sound you get "in" your recording, then you have to change the input channels in your software. You are maybe using the "Tascam Stereo" input, but you have to change it to "Tascam Left" or "Tascam Right", depending on wich channel your mic is connected.

Just go in the settings of the programm and adjust the input to mono.

Now I think I understood it. The problem is in this programm I just can use this things: input Tascam us mkII then i can collect between 16 channels. 1 channel mono, second stereo, the other 14 no names?

@Kabior95 Select The mono channel and try to find out which channel is used by the programm. To do this, just change the input where the XLR cable from the mic is connected, from Right to Left for example.

OK, what are you using? a mic or a direct output from a preamp? If you use a mic, then you have to do what I said, if not, you only can connect it to the other line in. The guitar input isnt what it is supposed to be, forget that thing.

@Kabior95 Ok, so, if cou have a MultiFX, you need a balanced output from your preamp, if you dont have that,you wont get a good sound out of your tascam. Yes, you can use another input, you dont need to use the guitar input. But why did you bought a Mic interface without a mic? I recommend you to buy a Toneport or a preamp with USB output, cause Im sure you wont find the sound you are lookin for.

@Kabior95 I really recommend you to buy a Line6 Toneport. The toneport GX costs only 59€, and it is the cheapest solution for you. You dont need a mic, a amp or a preamp, the toneport has it all.

@Kabior95 xD. No, you dont need any other thing, only the toneport. Just connect your guitar into the toneport, and with the software you get, you will emulate an amp on your PC.
