Thanks for your comment. Yes, I do like to use a picture of a concrete object as a template. I also enjoy doing purely abstract paintings but I find that having a concrete object gives the viewer something to latch onto. Then from there they can be drawn into my little world and experience some of the strange stuff that's in my head :)
