that's not a nice thing to say at all. She has accomplished so much. Yeah, she's overweight, so what...its not always about how you look. its about how you feel and sometimes you need to get healthy on the inside first emotionally before you get healthy on the outside. It's about health, people, criticizing people is not going to help anyone feel good about themselves.

Amen to that!! She is amazing!! It's not about the size. I admire so much about this girl. I am thinner than she is but have about 1/16 of the confidence that she does! She owns who she is..and she looks so pretty in that dress!!

i love this girls energy and her love for what she is doing . i loved her tears as they were real she is an example of what america is really all about.. she can do it so can others , sidibe is going to be a fixture on the entertainment scene for many yrs to come..

Totally agree. Since when is being morbidly obese considered cute? This chick was hinting on every entertainment show that she wanted Justin Timberlake for an Oscar date. He already had a girlfriend - a gorgeous one at that. They actually put in on the spot on one of the shows. Chick is delusional. Her star will fade now; trust me. Even is she claims to be happy with that weight trust me it is UNHEALTHY and downright DANGEROUS.

yes, she is morbidly obese but however she won an oscar which is more than can be said for a lot of the stick insects out there who are morbidly dead because they go in the exact opposite direction .. she can and will lose the weight she needs to am sure.. look at jennifer hudson.. her sister looks exactly like sidibe but she lost the weight to get the work and is losing more.. hopefully this time next yr we will see a much fitter sidibe am rooting for her.. haters take a hike..
