i think it just shows the connection a whole lot better. in the movie they make the characters a certain way in which you like them or not. but when you see edwards point of view you're like ooohh ok i get him now. i also had a moment where i hated him. wont say why cause its a spoiler. message me if u wanna know

I love this books so much and wish that Stephanie would finish writing it. I have always been interested in Edward's point of view and it was really great to finally read it...it was great. I will have to disagree with you...I feel that this book is ten times better than the Twilight Series.

Well, I think that she shouldn't have given out a copy of her work in the first place. That's a pretty stupid thing to do, especially since she is a big time author. Then she shouldn't have gotten all butthurt about it and stopped writing it.

I REALLY don't like Twilight or Stephenie Meyer, but this was a good review. I'm glad that you aren't one of those psychotic fans :D

The reason why Steph didn't continue with the book was because she felt that once it was put out there in the Twilight world, it was no longer hers anymore. She said as long as she beleived that something was never going to leave her laptop she could really work on it. Plus, her rights as an author were extremley violated. I'm as sad as the next TwiHard **, but we should respect her views and I have a lot of respect for her now that I know thati'ts not all about the money for her.

I write, and if my book got put on the web by my trusted few, I'd have a fit too! And second, the I think Midnight Sun was created to help us understand Twilight more. She'd not immature or selfish! Hell, JK's stuff was leaked a few times and that never stopped her from finishing the Potter series.

I think it's a bit of both. I mean, as a writer, you think of the story from more that one character's perspective a lot of the time...so getting it down in writing helps the author. But of course, there is that financial gain to get while the gettin' is good. Smart move financially...but then again, she's decided not to release it...so I suppose she's not making money on it after all.

Thank you for your mature response. Your first point is true, but that 'should' only happen when working on the story itself, to make it better in the beginning. Whatever was to be gain from writing Midnight Sun, should had 'been' put in Twilight to make it better has a story. It's kind of saying Meyer was holding back and that Twilight was her best effort. If there was that much material for a new book, why not just start a brand 'new' idea? At least you are honest about gaining money from it.

A lot of people share your opinion. Personally, I find her Twlilight series to be entertaining. No, it's not very intellectual, but a fun read non-the-less. As far as The Host goes, I feel like she stretched her wings a bit and was successful there.

i read some of midnight sun. But there was one part when Edward ran off after the first class he had with Bella and there was another vampire girl that I guess was his friend and i have no clue who she is.

She's from the clan up in Alaska.  In the regular books Meyer talks about how she had hit on/wanted Edward but that he wasn't interested. They all came to their wedding in the 4th book. :)

I read it too, online at her web, even though I haven't read Breaking Dawn yet. It was well written, even without editing and that stuff. But you could see that it was a draft, a couple of places she had put a few sentences in paranthesis, not decided whether they should be there or not (I don't think the ones she'd put in paranthesis didn't fit in).

Anyway, nice vid. Agree with nickoletoulini, you have a voice that's easy and clear to listen to; )
