  • Career Opportunities - Soundtrack (1991)

  • Please dear God let this group re-unite!

  • Please does anyone have the tab or even the chords for this.

  • @buckyew2

    chours and verse is C & F

I think the bridge is Em & C then last chord F

    peace

  • @ryremusic I did a cover of I Wanna Stay Home for the Jellyfish tribute album and I have a chord chart for it. Message me if you'd like it! You can see my video for the song on my channel. -DC

  • The Glory Days! a young Roger and Jason side by side- the McCartney/ Harrison combo of Jellyfish.

  • Such a great pop song, love the bass. Very Macca-esque, reminds me of my childhood. Love it , and I really want to stay home!

  • In all it's subtlety this is a beautiful song.

  • i wanna smoke some bud lol

  • What a shame they never got more attention, because "Bellybutton" doesn't have a bad song on it, listened to it a zillion times from 1990 until today.

  • totally agree..this was my group in the early 90'z

  • @BiBo24 it is one of a handful of albums that every song is a gem!!

  • @herzeleid777777 indeed!

  • Beautiful song. Thanks for posting it.

  • Awesome song! I loved this song after seeing the movie "Career Opportunities" and researched the band from there, finding the incredible album "Belly Button". What amazing talent!

  • Thank you for this. This song is everything good about my childhood. I remember listening to it out on the beach at our cottage on Lake Michigan. God bless my parents for loving good music:)

  • What a wonderful thing to say....bless you.

  • Yer welcom, son... now go mow the lawn.

    : P

  • I remember seeing them @ Centerstage in Atlanta W/ World Party...God, what an incredible show, there was more talent on the stage that night than 50 episodes of American Idol. Beverly Hills 90210 played this song during the intro of the very first show, and I thought "Maybe this show has potential." Oh, but if music could return to the days when talent actually mattered!!!

  • This is my favorite Jellyfish song. Wistfully beautiful.

  • My favorite too, even though I like every damn song they sang......shame they are no more :(

  • Can anyone tell me more on Andy Sturmer what a perfect voice where is he now? this song is excellant..what a talent1

  • He does a lot producing. What a waste of sucj sublime talent.

  • Where are these guys today and what happened to them??? I saw them twice in Seattle years ago.

  • best intro ever. i love the guitar sound.

  • Thanks for sharing that video. I followed the band all over the west coast until Chris left the band. Some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I miss them and the great music they produced.

  • Bellybutton = Greatest CD of all-time. EVERY song was brilliant. Thanks for sharing this!

  • One of the most criminally underrated bands of the nineties...thanks for sharing..

  • What a shame they were so short-lived. "Bellybutton" doesn't have a bad note on it. Thanks to my DJ-friend for giving me a copy of this way back in 1990. 2 weeks never pass without me listening to the CD.

  • I played this CD till it fell apart....GRATE!!!!!!!

  • Nice to see I wasnt only one remebering them play in England..I saw them at Notts Poly...long time again and yeah we all like here the music that makes our past

  • This is one of my favorites my Jelly....I LUV this song!! So talented and no other band out there could compare to them...I wish I could have seen them live...but ..I have their cd's and I still an inspired when I listen to their music..." take a walk on my blind side"...." I wanna stay home"

  • Absolutely wonderful.

Jelly fish had truly lovely melodies and great songs. I saw them in Bristol University many years ago. Brilliant. Spilt Milk still gets played regularly round these parts.

  • wow i wish i lived were you do lol

  • I loved these guy's back the day - their sound was unique and no one seems to have that these days - all the bands of today sound the same - the 80's and 90's produced some truely amazing sounds - Jellyfish being one of favorites!

  • someone please help me...why did they break up? It has always been a mystery to me why they split and when they did, it was before the internet was as popular and you didn't find anything out other than what the douchebag diskjockeys would say on the radio. Instead they played Salt n'peppa...God I miss these guys.

  • No band has ever made me feel longing like Jellyfish. I miss them like I miss the sun....please come back Jellyfish!!! I saw them at SJ State...what a show...what a band. WOW!

  • me too

  • thanx kev that worked for portakabin in hayes in london .the dude new his music and i still love the jelly bag

  • I miss Jellyfish. No band around these days compares to them.

  • How amazing was that??!! x x Thanks x

  • the first time i heard/saw jellyfish was on the beach during spring break in galveston, tx on the first bellybutton tour. the show knocked me flat and i've been hooked ever since. i remember andy saying something about going for a walk on the beach before the show and seeing a bunch of dead jellyfish and hoping that wasn't an omen. hahaha.

    thanks for uploading glammer!

  • I've been getting into the Feeling's album, "Twelve Steps and Home." Jellyfish fans, you'll love it.

  • yep... Jellyfish, you are sorely missed

  • understatement :) great stuff

  • Thank you for uploading this amazing video. It is my favorite song by one of the best unknown bands ever. Sadly, they had only two albums full of beautiful harmonies, songwriting, and a stand-up drum kit. Jellyfish must return to save the earth!
